TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (DFB-Pokal Semi Final vs Wolfsburg) We put in a very dominant display against Wolfsburg in the semi final of DFB-Pokal to reach the final. The 4-0 win was about right for our efforts on the night as Wolfsburg were powerless to stop us.

TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (April 2025) April proved to be the month when we made everything count, as a win against Schalke our bitter rivals, would mean we would lift the Bundesliga title a month before the end of the season and that is exactly what happened as we beat Schalke 4-0. Bayern Munich had failed to beat Hamburg the day before and that handed us the title upon our victory over Schalke. We have also made it to the final of the DFB-Pokal which means we can now go for a very memorable double in our first season as manager of Borussia Dortmund. With three games to play we can no longer be caught and are German champions, as we sit with an 11 point lead over Bayern Munich. Very proud of the boys as we bring home the Bundesliga title after a 13 year wait! BORUSSIA DORTMUND ARE GERMAN CHAMPIONS!!!
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (May 2025) We finish the season strong, with some very nice performances. RB Leipzig and Mainz have been two of the better teams in Germany this year, so getting 4 points from those away fixtures was a good return. We ended up relegating Eintract Frankfurt on the final day through our 4-0 win. So we finish the season 11 points clear of Bayern Munich in 2nd place. Mainz secure the final Champions League place, while RB Leipzig and Schalke will be playing Europa League football next season. Darmstadt and Eintracht Frankfurt are relegated. Stuttgart who seeimingly spent all season rooted to the bottom of the table still have a chance to avoid relegation in the Relegation playoff.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (DFB-Pokal Final vs Augsburg) In the final, we did let any jitters get to us and Lozano proved to be the man of the hour, as he so often is, with a brace in the final to give us the DFB-Pokal crown. We end up winning 3-0 in Berlin. BORUSSIA DORTMUND WIN THE DFB-POKAL!!!

TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (Squad Overview 2025) Michal Szczesny (GK) - 2nd choice goalkeeper, not played this season. Martin Kolar (GK) - Purchased from Sparta Prague, been our number one keeper this season, has had a good first season, he probably won't end up being a top worldclass keeper but he is good enough. Lennart Autmuller (GK) - 3rd choice keeper, he has not played this season. Abou Diallo (DLC) - Been an absolute rock at centre-back, probably our best defender this season. Criminally under-used by France. Dominik Hickel (DLRC) - Superb youngster, primarily used in the centre-back role and has been a good substitute for us this season. Christopher Furthaler (DLC) - He is could be a great player in the future but has not played this season. May go out on loan next season. Tomas Cuello (DR, MR) - He is a great player to have at the club, his versatility down the right hand side, means that he can fill in for us when there is an injury. He is definately a player I want to keep hold of. Alvaro Odriozola (DR) - Came in for as a Celik replacement from Barcelona, and hit the ground running, has been a superb addition at right back. Christian Romero (DC, DM) - Has mostly been deployed at centre-back and has been the perfect foil to Diallo. Waldemar Anton (DRLC, DM) - He has been decent when we have needed him but it is probably time for him to move on this coming transfer window. Huseyin Tan (DL) - He had only played a few games covering injury but he has done well, so I am very happy to keep him around as cover. Daniel Osei (DL, ML) - Only used a full back where is a world back full back, of that there is no doubt, he was a mainstay all season, and performed brilliantly. Thomas Delaney (DM, MC) - Already leaving the club on free, moaned a lot and was scared that Lamarie would display him which he did. Julian Weigl (DM, MC) - He has been a great player to have around and fill in at DMC. We are blooding Patrick Plachy at DMC and it is so important to have someone to come of the bench and give him a rest in games. Dzenis Burnic (DM, MC) - Not really played much, he provides good cover and does not moan about not playing so I am inclined to perhaps keep him. Guillermo Munoz (MC, DMC) - A great prospect for us, he had not played too much but that shows our strength in his position. I am sure he will likely play a few more games next season as we play in Europe as well. Teddy Lemaire - (MC, DMC) - Big money signing from Lille and he has impressed this season, we have given him plenty of games in that important central midfield position and he had flourished. Patrik Plachy (DMC, MC) - Another summer transfer signing from Sparta Prague and he has played mostly from defensive midfield. He has done well, but perhaps not hit the heights of Lemaire just ahead of him on the pitch. He is a lot younger having only just turned 18, but it is obvious that that there is a lot of talent in this guy. We perhaps also do not play a system that gets the best out of him, as we ask him to get around and break up play, whereas he is more of deep lying creative player. Michael Bollrath (ML) - Called up from Dortmund B, when we had an injury crisis and he stayed. I really like him as a player, he is unassuming but just gets on with his job. He has never really let me down when I have played him, so very happy with him. Thomas Grosse (MR) - He is only 20 years old, but he is already a magnificent player. Some of the stats he put up this season are just insane with over 20 assists, he is the creative fulcrum of the team. Hirving Lozano (ML, MR) - The elder statesman of the team, but what a player. He somehow beat Thomas Grosse this season for Player of the Season, from that wing spot, he gets a lot of goals, and is so dangerous cutting inside. Johannes Eggestein (ST) - He can play other position, but there is no doubt he should be playing striker. He is a fantastic striker, making I think the most dangerous attack in world football together with Martin Alpisch. He scores important goals and has had a very impressive season. Timo Haastrup (ST) - I brought him up mid-season from Dortmund B, because I feel like he has everything you need in a striker. He only made one sub appearance, but I would not be surprised if Haastrup starts playing a lot more minutes next season. Patrik Besold (AMC, ST) - We do not play with attacking midfielder, which makes Besold a bit of quandry, clearly he has a lot of quality, but where to fit him in is the question. At the moment I am unsure what we are going to do with him. Paco Alcacer - (ST) - Here is a player with just the right amount of experience to guide a young attack. He is good for throwing on later in games, especially as he is now 31 years old. He actually has been through a goal drought this season, but his link up play is good, so I am still very happy to have him. Martin Alpisch (ST) - The youngster can only be described as a goal machine, always knows how to find the net and still is only 20 years old. The Alpisch-Eggestein partnership I would say at the moment is the best in Germany.

TerminalPortugal 259
We bring in long term Hirving Lozano replacement Paulinho from Bayer Leverkusen for £48m. He looks like an excellent player and will really help us out, in what should be a long season.
TerminalPortugal 259
Another signing in Asier Moreno, the young centre-back comes in from Athletic Bilbao for £9.75m. TerminalPortugal 259
With Odriazola injured we needed to get a replacement and we sign a 19 year old right back from West Bromwich Albion; Chris Evans for £35.5m. I was tracking a few potential young right backs but having to move quick meant we got in Chris Evans and I am happy with the move.

TerminalPortugal 259
The scouts spotted Viktor Huster at VfL Bochum and we think he is has enough potential to take a risk and pay £2.7m for him. TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (Pre-Season 2025) Pre-season is over and we were generally pretty good. We did suffer two losses along the way, and generally I put that down to wasteful finishing rather than deserved losses, as in both games we were probably the better side, along the way we did get wins against Corinthians, Southampton, Chelsea and Napoli, to give us some confidence going forward. TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (DFL-Supercup vs Bayern Munich) We have ourselves to blame for losing the Supercup as we let Bayern Munich get 2 goals ahead. Then we found our feet and dominated the remainder of the match, but could not get to parity. Bayern Munich win the Supercup 2-1. Not to worry there will be bigger fish to fry. TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (August 2025) We had a tough start to the season but we came through it well as we beat Bayern Munich in the season opener 1-0 and then got through a tough away tie to Borussia Monchengladbach 3-2. RB Leipzig are the early leaders in the league, several teams have a 100% record up to this stage, with Stuttgart, ourselves, Schalke and Augsburg all starting well. We sit 3rd at the moment. TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (Champions League Group A vs Atletico Madrid) A last ditch goal from Angel Correa sinks us in the last minute against Atletico Madrid. It was always going to be a very tough game and to lose in injury time was very disappointing. Cristian Romero got himself sent off which to be honest really did not help our cause, I am not very happy with him. Still it is not the end of the world, there is still a long way to go and we can recover from this loss. There was a 1-1 draw in the other game in the group as Bordeaux rescued a late draw against Chelsea in France.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (September 2025) We have been good without being outstanding. We drew the derby game against Schalke, which is acceptable, and then the 1-0 win at home against Hertha Berlin was not the most convincing win, although the 4-0 win away to Bayer Leverkusen, hopefully has helped us recover some fluidity in our game and we can kick on. We are top of the table, only 1 point ahead of Bayern Munich, and two ahead of Schalke 04, whom have started the season well. We are still unbeaten this season, so I am pretty happy so far. TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (Champions League Group A vs Bordeaux) We get our Champions League campaign back on track with a 2-0 home win against Bordeaux, which probably should have been won by a larger margin. Alpisch got the goals on the night. Chelsea beat Atletico 3-2 at Stamford Bridge in the other game of the group. So we move up to 3rd place and have something to build on now.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (Champions League Group A vs Chelsea) I really can't understand at times what we are doing. We are the better side, create plenty of chances and just can't put the ball away. Chelsea beat us in Germany 2-0 and now we are really struggling to qualify out of our group. We really needed to get results at home and hope we could do something away from home. I am absolutely fuming. Perhaps the best news of the night for us was that Atletico drew at home to Bordeaux 2-2, which means that the damage to our campaign is somewhat limited.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (DFB-Pokal 2nd Round vs Hannover 96) We needed late goals to get past Hannover 96 in the DFB-Pokal. We advance to the 3rd Round at their expense.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (October 2025) Overall I am not too happy with us this month, the first point of issue I take is the 4-3 loss to Mainz, which I just think there is no way Mainz, despite being a decent side in the Bundesliga should ever be getting 4 goals against us, that gave us our first loss of the league season, and the 2-0 home loss to Chelsea, is unacceptable. We have a real knack for being the better side and losing games of football, and that is unacceptable to me. Despite the negative we did achieve 4 wins in the month, so it is not all negative. Bayern Munich look imperious at the moment and sit 2 points clear of us in 2nd place. We need to keep winning to stay within touching distance of them.
TerminalPortugal 259
The 3rd Round draw for the DFB-Pokal has been made and we face 1.FC Magdeburg at home.
TerminalPortugal 259
Paris Saint-Germain are pulling every trick in the book to turn Martin Alpisch's head. At the moment Martin has not shown any sign that he is going to push for a move and we have him locked down for a very long time. So there is no danger of me caving in to any pressure from the French side.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (Champions League Group A vs Chelsea) Our goalkeeper was man of the match, so it probably says plenty about the match. In fairness we had chances too, but it was important not lose this match, and we haven't so that is beneficial to us to get the point. Again we have been helped out as the game in France finished 1-1 between Bordeaux and Atletico meaning that two wins from our remaining games against Atletico at home and Bordeaux would be enough to qualify for the next stage.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (Champions League Group A vs Atletico Madrid) Late goals were what we needed against Atletico Madrid to secure a victory in the crunch game of the group. Now it is in our hands going into the final group game against Bordeaux and a draw in France will assure us of qualification to the next round of the Champions League. Chelsea secured a 2-0 over Bordeaux at home which means that they will win the group. We will advance to the next round if we can draw at Bordeaux, by virtue of our superior head to head record against Atletico Madrid.
TerminalPortugal 259
Borussia Dortmund (November 2025) We have been much better this month both in the league and in Europe as we strung together a long list of impressive performances. Eggestein has been out with broken wrist so young Timo Haastrup has really stepped up to the plate this month with goals galore as he shows what a useful player he is to have in the squad. Paulinho has also been in for Lozano and has done a very good job, showing that we have depth to the squad. We now top the league again as Bayern Munich dropped points this month, we lead them by 3 points and have improved our goal difference as well over them. Already at this stage it is looking very much like it will be a two horse race between ourselves and Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga crown.
