It's time to calculate the air miles for the season.

We won 48 games this season

The equation is as follows:-

3 x 5.61 x 2 x 1 = 33.67 air miles per win = 1,616.09 air miles for the season. Added to the 4018.79 air miles we already have, means we now have 5,634.88 air miles range.

As we can see a good section of Europe is now unlocked, including Scandanavia, East Germany, most of Turkey, Poland and even a tiny portion of Scotland.

A more detailed look at the our range.

I think we will be adding the Turkish and German leagues at this time and see whether there is a good avenue for us there.

Well we finally get our move to Europe, as we take the job at Wolfsburg.

A pretty bare trophy cabinet at the club.

The move to Wolfsburg, Germany from Japan costs us 5,614.14 miles, however we also added 999.95 miles for the portion of the season leaving us with 1,020.67 air miles after the move.

New range for the club, so we will be changing our leagues loaded.

For now the league changes are above. Turkey, Japan and Russia leave and we add Italy, England and Spain.

Well a funny set of events. The DoF sees fit to bring in old Central Coast Mariners and Fijian face Peter Segran on a season long loan from Bayer Leverkusen. Not sure he is necessarily first choice, but great to see an old player in the team and also a Fijian, where we first started this journey.

First month of the season complete and I will take it, it was always going to be tough to get one over on Dortmund and we gave a pretty good account of ourselves, and then against Eintracht Frankfurt we turned on a bit of style and came through 5-1 winners, so at least some element of the system the players are beginning to understand, I am sure we will continue to improve.

Early days in the league, but at the moment Dortmund look like they might be the team to catch.

Well it has been a very good September for us as we become the form team in Germany. We probably rode our luck a bit against Schalke, but the rest of the fixtures were very comfortable for us. I knew we had a decent side, but I didn't expect us to be doing this well at this early stage.

We top the league by a point from Bayern Munich, with Dortmund and RB Leipzig just behind.

Incredible month for us because of the first fixture. 7-1 against Bayern, that will take some beating. We were actually very good all month as took down Leipzig and got a very good draw away to Leverkusen, to continue our good form. We also got past VfL Bochum in the cup, to send us through to the Third Round of the DFB Pokal.

We have opened up a 4 point gap at the top of the league, can we somehow maintain this?
