Cowboy71
Hey guys, I'm not long into my managerial career with Arsenal. Now, I'm not the most knowledgable football tactician, and I was wondering if many of you (managing top flight clubs) vary your tactics etc from what your assistants suggest. Cheers. FrazT
The answer to this question will be based on the qualities of your Asst- if he has good attributes for Tactics etc, then I would certainly listen, but will use my own judgement as well. Far too often you get the " we should try more long balls" suggestion quickly followed by " we should try shorter passing". If the Asst has poor attributes, I would treat most of his advice with little attention
kingjericho
I don't use any tactical advice from my staff. I use them for training assignments, match preparation, team talks.
