jinodu80 Posted March 24, 2017 Share Posted March 24, 2017 play out from the back goal kick tactics should be added, to improve the realism of the game, whereby central defenders drop down the box line or stay on the edge and fullbacks are pushed forward. play out from the back is different from play out of defense. it should be a tactic separated from team instruction tactics. AFCBeer Posted March 28, 2017 Share Posted March 28, 2017 This has actually been touched on in threads discussing the Half Back role. What users are finding is that although the HB does drop between the 2 CB's, they are not splitting correctly like in real life. SI's take seems to be the HB does work properly as he does drop. However, if they do insist on this, I would agree that ticking Play Out Of Defense must cause the CB's to split far wider. Incidently, you can get a wider CB split with full backs in the Wing Back strata instead, but obviously that's not ideal for a solid defence. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
