Cannes
I would really really love if my long term save from fm16 could be imported into fm17 so that it could be continued on the new version.
KUBI
That's a request that comes every year, but unfortunately I think it will never be possible. There are too many changes from one version to the next and some of the new features would crash the game.
Guest
Kubi is spot on, SI would love to be able to do this because if possible the only outcome is more sales of the latest version but with so many features being linked to the database many new features would simply not work & that includes the most important feature of FM, the match engine. Cannes
I realize that a straight transfer of the save is not possible, I do know what a database is and how they work... Surely it is possible to map out the database changes from one version to the next and write some code to shoehorn the old data into the new database format? tiago_wakabayashi
I really would love if that feature exists. And if creates any save converter, ignoring less important attributes, converting others... then I could load it in the new version.
