MrBannystar
Just finished my 2nd season as Tranmere and we've been promoted from the Conference, and the board announce plans to build a new stadium, with a capacity of about 7000. Prenton Park holds 16,200 so why on earth are we downgrading?!
HUNT3R
If you think it's a bug, please report it, ideally with a save from before the decision is made by the board.
carragherisgod
Could be a few thing. Maybe they want to build a new stadium for "future proofing". Are they renting their 16,200 capacity stadium? Is it a bit dilapidated? Let's not forget, even Juventus had to down size when it came to their stadium. Juve are a very successful club in the real world and even they couldn't fill Stadio Delle Alpi.
dllu
Maybe they want to build a new stadium for "future proofing". Good point. Could it be that 16,200 is the maximum capacity for the old stadium, while the new one can be expanded to more than that? Also, what is your average attendance like now? This will surely influence the decision as well.
