axehan1
This is probably a dumb question but i am a newbie at graphics etc. if i want to put my own pics ingame(for instance Odegaard) and i find a good pic on the net but it is larger than 1800x1800 and a jpeg, how do i resize it to the desired dimensions and change it to .png? many thanks. mikelfc8
I think you're after 180x180 rather than 1800x1800. One simple way is to... 1. Save the picture to a location on your PC. 2. Right-click on it and hover over Open with... then select Paint from the drop-down menu. 3. Once in Paint select the Home tab and click resize. 4. Select Pixels and Maintain Aspect Ratio and then change the value in the horizontal box to 180 (or whatever size you want). The vertical size should change automatically. Click OK. 5. Click the dark blue box in the top left corner of Paint and from the drop-down menu hover over Save as... and select PNG picture. 6. Name it as you want, save it and import it into FM. There may well be better ways of doing it but that way served me well when I was just starting to find my way around modding FM.
FMReporter
Gimp and Paint.Net are both free. If you are setting out on Graphics then I suggest taking a look at those

mikelfc8
Another vote here for Gimp. I've found it essential for modding stadium banners.
bartdude
I endorse Gimp and Paint.Net also. Paint.Net is a little easier to use but Gimp has greater flexibility and more features. Spend some time with tutorials and practise
