reo hustler
Well, I purchased FM14 through Steam. Waited for download, then all the updates. Upon completion. Fired it up. Unfortunately, I can't play since my mouse cursor doesn't appear. Am I missing something? Is my PC obsolete or something? I ran "can you run it" prior to purchasing and it passed the test(easily). Also, my system ran FM13 fine. What gives? Anyone know? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Administrators Neil Brock Posted November 1, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 1, 2013 Go into your Control Panel -> Mouse and make sure 'trails' are turned off.
Alex-sKIp_E
My cursor also isn't displaying, but only in Windows mode. It has nothing to do with trails, as I have them off already. Also tried turning off GPU rendering, but it made no difference. Reading around, this seems to have been a recurring issue for a few years now. alinasrallah
Go to mouse settings and in "pointer options" disable "Hide pointer while typing". It should work since I had the same issue and I also had pointer trails turned off. I just signed up here to tell you guys how to fix it.
400ata
Hi - For me, unticking "hide pointer while typing" in control panel mouse options didn't work, but unticking "display pointer trails" did work. So, try both.
