sometimes the scouts show 25 year old players who are 2-3 star CA with 5 star PA. i have not seen a 3 star 25year old grow to star so tend to avoid them. has anyone seen any one that old develop a lot after that age?

not directly related but what does "moves into channels " mean?

thanks so they were not as good as we thought. so does that mean that mean teens who have only 2-3 stars potential but are shooting up in stats might have more than 3 star potential? I've also find that my scouts give players more stars than my coaches. every time i hire a 4 star player they come into team and coach only rates them 3 stars. EDIT no i don't use any editors. just vanilla FM21

training and match day all delegated to U18 and U23 managers

on a related question if you give training of U23 U18 to assistants do they do much individual training or skills training?

would having an analyst make a an AI manager in charge of U23/U18 better at their job?

@prepper_jack thanks for that i only looked at medical centre for injuries till now. i only have 3,19 year olds in first team squad but many between 20-25. couple of the 19yos have been playing almost every game as they are the best players i have in their position but will rotate them more going forward. i did notice some players losing stats (all ages) mid season. nothing catastrophic though. but thinking back i may have destroyed a couple of high potential youngsters along the way. they didn't drop in any stats but their potential disappeared, so they stayed at squad player level in championship.

i hear lot of people mention Rest is important to development so how much rest is required? i am assuming its age dependent?

i cant afford to keep them. with my wage budget i am still loaning players to gap the quality. board is not intereted in promotion jsut want to be a midtable championship team. but still we have the 2 lowest wage budget in the league.

if i have delegated the task will is make the AI manager more efficent/effective?

i have only one save and have reached the championship. have noticed i [in lower leagues at least] 30+ players decline quite fast so generally have sold them when they reach 29/30. hasn't happened often as been generally buying really young players. now some of the players who got me up the leagues are reaching 30. they are not first choice but are useful to the squad but are all team leaders. everyone respects them. sold one of them who hardly plays and fans not really happy. so just got me thinking in the recent versions of the game players maybe good even after reaching 30? and generally wheat age do you start thinking of selling your players?

i too play on comprehensive highlights so only play like 2 game weeks per sitting on avarage.
