    Why the need for the insult? Millions of people are watching this game live who have been able to see replays - it's not unreasonable to expect ITV to be able to as well.

    Still two attacking free kicks for clear fouls we've been given absolutely nothing for.

    VAR not giving that, but that should have been a free kick. Don't think it continued into the box, that's when Kane threw himself down (after being fouled outside).

    With Ronaldo, the real reason was already know by everyone and being reported by everyone. With White, the only """"source"""" is the Daily Star. If more credible sources (ie, pretty much anyone) start reporting too then it becomes more credible. If the Daily Star told me the sky was blue, I'd pop outside to check.

    I hate that phrase, because quite a lot (most?) of the time one side is telling the truth, and the other is not. A little bit US Politics "both sides have good points" for my liking!

    Don't really consider it a rivalry - hatred of the French is more of a boomer thing isn't it? Have never really understood it, and there's not been anything on the pitch to keep a rivalry going either. Germany is obvious, Argentina still has the "relatively" recent Beckham 98 game, Portugal has winking Ronaldo that I'd consider higher. And Scotland, if they'd ever bother to bloody qualify for the WC.

    I know our game against Forest Green was a 1pm kick off this weekend just gone - but being nearer the Welsh border I think the risk of either England or Wales finishing 2nd in the group was a higher probability than one of them making it to the QF. Guess you also don't want to rearrange it too far ahead, then look silly if we're out early.
