Thanks for the feedback but I can confirm that Shaun's official role is that of kitman, though is an excellent coach and contributes to the coaching. This is confirmed by my contact at the club. Additionally if you look at the club website he is also listed as kitman. We are now too late for any db changes for FM24 so I will see if his position changes over the summer. Im not opposed to listing him as a coach for FM25 subject to any possible changes

  2. @Sunstrikuuu Haha, its so stupid its funny and the keeper looking the wrong way is hilarious. I think at this point Im going to stop raising issues as they just arent getting any attention - it feels like a waste of effort. This is been highlighted as an issue for a long time and yet no-one in SI has commented about this issue at all.

Focus will now be on FM25, in fact it feels to me that  FM24 was the poorest quality release for a long time even though the ME could have been the best

Hi - thanks for taking the time to raise this but I am aware :)  Due to data cut-off I was not able to adjust his set-piece attribute rating but more concerning is that FM will not allow a dual role of GK coach and Set-Piece coach in the training schedule for coaching assignments. I have an outstanding bug already raised.

@Russell Hammant Thanks for the response, I can't seem to find a way of uploading the save file without creating a new thread.

That being said this is the first time I heard players need to complete matches to be happy with their playing time, also when playing a high-tempo system it's hard for any midfield/forward to get to 70/80 minutes without fatigue and running the risk of injury. Then of course you run into jadedness and medical staff recommending players take a rest.

    Seems like an oversight.

Ive reported issues with increased jadedness of players / requirement to rest players. It was suggested it was due to me using AI training rather than managing it myself biut I did the same last year and its worse this year IMHO

    With Portsmouth few minor things:

Joe Prodomo is the goal-keeping coach. But, also getting used for set pieces. So, a score of 3 of them might need adjusting.

He only recently announced he has left Pompey

On the Affiliates page no link with Havent? Usually, setup and a friendy each year does happen.

Staff again, Phil Broadman is planning to join Everton shortly.

Hi, thanks for the post and observations

Joe Prodomo - Good spot. He does need looking at I agree but ORDB is now locked unfortunately.

Spencer Spurway - I saw this but ORDB was already locked

Havant and Waterlooville - This is in the ORDB so if missing will be a bug, I'll raise it. I think this also happened for FM23 and I raised this previously

    FM24 Early Access Bug:

Phil Boardman - Its going to happen but hasnt happened yet. My sources at the club suggest he wont move to Everton officially until Jan. If so this change will hopefully be in the Winter update

Not a major one, but Portsmouth's 22/23 League One finish (in 'League History' tab) is 21st - we were bad, but not that bad! We finished 8th

Good spot, thanks for reporting this @donaldvass. Unfortunately the FM24 ORDB will now be locked but it may get updated for one of the official data updates if lucky else we will have to wait for the Winter update Im afraid

Hoping for a better EFL L1 finish this season :D

  7. I have exactly the same issue as Stuniverse. FM 23 was working fine as was Aplha. FM23 Issue appears to have been since the weekend / Monday update for Gerrard

In summary game starts, splash screens appear then it disappears / Icon in bottom tool bar disappears

Verified file integrity, deleted cache folder, PC reboot and same issue. If the Preferences folder is then deleted that seems to resolve the issue

    @Lucas

  8. @Michael Sant Understood. If this is the case it would be good if SI could confirm the priority post triage on the bug post or better still have this linked in from your internal tracker to the raised bug incident number. Updates its a known issue status also help. Its very inconsistent. I sympathise with the authors of many comments that no feedback to bugs that people have taken the time to post to help SI make the game better have the appearance of being ignored. This in turn, again in comments I have read, will make people less inclined to do so going forwards.

My thoughts are that anyway SI can help encourage rather than discourage people to raise defects per the processs should be encouraged, especially as they do this for  free / love of the game. My opinion is just that, but also shared  and wanting to help make this better for us all:)

Moved this to All Other Gameplay as they would pick up investigating this issue further.

However, just for clarity my comment was based upon the way in which it would currently play-out in game. Most players won't challenge the assertion they have trained poorly, thereby providing an unintended benefit. I haven't looked to provide any commentary on a real life equivalency but I have since tested the situation you mentioned myself and indeed you can get a positive reaction from criticising these players which may also be something QA can look into further.

I understand what your saying but I feel you miss the point. In my opinion a player returning from injury  should be excluded from the players being determined as the worst training performer for obvious reasons just the same way an injured player's AI should not count the injury and recovery period as matches they missed selection.

I would personally see any positive reaction in the event you state as an exploit and any negative reaction avoidable since no manager would have this type of conversation of training performance with an injured player. I would say its shortfall in the FM AI since if it did recognise that player was in rehabilitation then you would expect the news item to comment on the player not putting enough effort into his rehabilitation exercises....in my view :)
