  1. Whenever I open a new browsing session on community.sigames.com the default language of the forum changes. Currently everything is in spanish. I have had this bug for years. Is there a known fix or a fix in the works? Thank you!
  2. I have had this exact same bug in FM23 on two different saves. The annoying part is even if you use the in game editor to change their fatigue to -1000 or whatever, it will get back to “low” in a week or two max. I think the bug is related to what squad and the squad training the newgen is in. They would be in the senior squad and I would send them to rest for a week, but their fatigue level would increase every day even though they were being rested. Making me think they were also doing u18 training or something like that. I also did something recommended here which was send them on the longest holiday time, twice. Which I did but after a week or so the fatigue level came back. But good to know about the international call up and loaning out.
  3. I am back to FM23 but one thing I do think FM is still the best game in the world for - feeling like something I did actually changed the game. There is nothing better than making a tactical tweak or substitution in a close game after noticing something while watching the ME, and that change having a positive outcome soon after. You feel like you are actually Pep Guardiola. Or choosing a new signing between a few different players, and that player coming in and really being the missing piece your team needed. You really do feel like what decisions you make have a real tangible outcome on the results. FM24 I found was quite easier than other years so it is less rewarding in that sense. Which is partially why I am back to FM23. But it is definitely part of the reason I put in 1000's of hours every year. When you get a save that you've worked for a long time on to turn good... nothing beats that feeling
  4. More just about an actual road map for the future. From everything SI has said about FM25, the engine update is mostly related to graphical features and does not seem related to the ME. https://www.footballmanager.com/news/future-football-manager Which is what the original discussion we were referring to was about
  5. Unfortunately it really does seem like SI do not want to give a glossary - and as they won't say to why, I think we can infer that it is because they do not want to have to explain how a lot of these systems work. I would assume because: 1. the games code is so convoluted and so patched together that they really do not understand how it all works together and there are many pieces of it they cannot truly explain because they don't really understand them completely. Either because the person who wrote the code is not employed anymore or because so many patches and parts have been added and amended it is impossible to know exactly what affects what else. Which I also think is why they have such trouble updating things without breaking or severely hurting other parts of the game. Ex: the current ME. 2. They do not want the "veil to be lifted" as it will show a lot of these systems are quite funky and do not work as intended or work in the same way that real football records the data. A lot of stats in FM are very bizarre and don't seem to work as their real life counterparts do. Ex: passing competition, finishing conversion, woodwork hits, OPPDA etc. I think people would respect them way more if they came out and gave a reason why they do not explain a lot of the in game systems. Even if that answer is because we cannot accurately describe them. It is just annoy that something so basic as a glossary is basically ignored, but many unneeded or un asked for features are constantly added. A squad planner...? really? Women's football...? How about explanations of how some of the stats are recorded....
  6. Well considering the game is about 8 months out they could give us some indications.... I really really do not understand a lot of the radio silence from SI. Are they truly satisfied that FM24 is the most complete version of FM to date?
  7. So you're going to throw out all the relevant information in the post because you don't like a word they put in the headline? Dear me.... Anyways I made a bug report without the sensationalization of the headline so lets see what happens..
  8. Doesn't know what they're doing...? All that was changed was a few attributes. It is not rocket science. The biggest issue here is how can a team finish 2nd in the EPL with every player on their team having 1's in so many what you would think are "key" attributes to play football. Seriously, this team just finished 2ND and not on person on their team can complete a 5 yard pass. They have 1's in passing, first touch, vision and composure. You don't see how that's an issue that SI might want to know about and address? I am not here to do all of SI's testing. I am showing them a basic test that shows some major flaws in the game currently. They can test further If they want, but I don't think you can say I have an "agenda" against SI by showing them a test that seems to show issues in their game. Get a grip. I love this game but if it has issues I would like the developers to hopefully fix them, no?
  9. I am sorry but if you think a team can finish 2nd in the EPL without ANY players on their team with a passing/composure/first touch rating higher than 1... I don't know what to tell you. There is an issue here. People are trying to show SI. Stop trying to throw out all testing on this game by saying there's too many variables to ever know.
  10. Do you understand how testing even works? You cannot control EVERY variable. So you control the ones you can change (attributes) and test that against a control group. If you run a test 1000's of times like they do on Arena-FM, you can limit how much the variables change things as you have an average of how things turn out over a large number of tests... And I would bet if you run this same test 100 times, most results will be very similar... Honestly even without testing a lot of people who have played FM for many years could have told you which attributes you need to focus on and which ones you can ignore. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_modelling https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_method Give this a read perhaps...
  11. You do understand that no amount of "variables" should make a team that has 1's in 80% of their attributes... (ones you think that would be important for football like passing and composure and first touch) be able to finish 2nd in the EPL while having the CA ratings for a Vanarama National League team yeah? You don't think that alone is worth SI to take a look..? "But the usual path of these things is largely a refusal to share that, probably because they'll be quickly told that the methodology is flawed. Like this one is.." In which part of that post did they refuse to share any information...?? Do you care to elaborate on exactly how this is flawed...?
  12. There is a bug post on the forum already for it by me... so yes looks like SI has been made aware. So hopefully SI do enact some change!
