    Set pieces

Agree. The choices now are: 1. Don't change your line up and layer positions 2. If you do change, fiddle endlessly with set pieces (2-4 minutes per game) 3. Accept you'll miss opportunity as you don't have time to keep changing the line up. We get the fact you can save set pieces. If you rotate your team and have an "alternative" formation to use in cases where your gameplan is not working, the # of saved set pieces can really add up. I had to impose a naming structure... e.g. formation 1, Tall CB, Tall CF & Tall RW formation 2, Tall CB, Tall CF & Short RW etc. As @Tryllefot suggests, it would be great if the interface allowed us to anchor players to positions.
  2. One frustrating part of the game is trying to figure an appropriate trait based upon the attributes of a player. So much time is wasted putting suggestions to the coaches whereby you get a polite but curt response indicating you "chose poorly". I know the objective of the devs is not to annoy & humiliate the player, but the seemingly endless cycle of rejection, where the relevant coach does a virtual eye-roll, is not a productive use of time. In fact it creates a huge time barrier that discourages players from engaging in training. Can the Devs make the selection easier by prompting the player manager on the traits that would succeed.? A green tick or highlighting the traits would save a lot of time.
  3. It will be great if we knew that the coach approves of the trait before we select it. A little green tick or similar to note the player has the attributes makes more sense than the endless cycle of rejection, where the coach does a virtual eye-roll about the suggestion by the manager.
  4. Is there a way to add information on the 2nd & 3rd Nationality of players to this scout briefing card? I am playing in Italy in Serie A. My interest in this wonderful talent from Uraguay will be a lot higher if player has EU citizenship. When I was in Serie B the rules made me interested to know if he has Italian citizenship as that is the loophole in the strict lower league rules in Italy. There is no way to confirm the 2nd nationality other than clicking into the player and then clicking to the Information tab. The lack of this information slows the review process as I don't recall the nationality of the many wonderfully named newgens I've sent the scouts to look into (I play with attribute masking).
  5. We can only hope, these rules are built to ensure the sustainability of the game in the long run. Too many clubs that are essential community assets are being lost as they try to survive in this artificial environment.
  6. I'm talking about the tiki-taka short corners that pass the ball to the corner taker as soon as the pass initially is made so the off side is guaranteed. It would not be hard to make the player do what real people do and move to an onside position ASAP the pass is made.
  7. The sheer number of short corners that turn into offside fouls is a blight on this game. Please recode so pro players don't look like a bunch of foolish 7 year old kids who don't understand the off side rule.
  8. Yes, please provide more details to this area. One objective is to increase the commercialization of a club. It will be great to get some visibility of how to make the club more visible to achieve such an objective.
  9. Better integration of the teams would help keep the whole first team unit sharp.
  10. Great idea. More information about training will be really valuable.
  11. Agreed. This is common sense. The game environment has changed since the shout. Events have overwhelmed any words the coach may have uttered.
  12. To be fair to SI, these rules are a façade for the clubs that are PR machines for petro-states, not actual enforceable statutes. Man City was able to show "blatant disregard" and not be deemed in breach. PSG has been free to ignore for years, this will not change. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/53571659
  13. It has taken a few season for me to understand these rules. Relating to the 2nd point marked by the * character. Is it possible to change the game to allow the club managers to nominate the players who will take on the non-EU slots. At the current time it appears (may be wrong) that it works on a first in first out (FIFO) system. Thus, if you sign a U20 player who will not be first team ready, then sign a player who is ready for the senior team, the first player will get the slot as they were signed first. If you understand what is being stated, it would be preferable to allow the club to choose between the 2 when the slots become available so the club may ensure the player who is ready to play is given preference.
  14. It does not happen with every injury. Even if you are trying to support players with sport scientists and physios, most players in the U18-Reserves will have a few semi serious injuries over a 2-5 year period. I've noted such events will drop bravery. As noted as part of rehab it would be great to add the rehabilitation of bravery.
  15. Is it possible to add a quick link to the Loan Report. I have followed all of the hyperlinks o the page below and none link to the loan report, what I would believe is the most important page for reviwing player performance. Is there a way to add a link to this page so save extra clicks?
