I've seen many tactics with the same initial name (like Beowulf) but different formations (Beowulf 442, Beowulf 424) and was just curious if there's a list or guide anywhere explaining what the name of a tactic covers (is it the tactical style? base formation? other?) :)

    Theres a tab on his FM21 sheet explaining what they all mean.

    Arsenal FM 22 Beta Tests - Holiday. 

    I have included a preset GENGEN 4231 tactic to show a baseline, this finished 6th and had the worse points of all tactics tested.  

    Some takeaways, most of the FM21 tactics have bad pass accuracy and dribble percentages. Not sure if this could be stamina related? 

    Man U are monsters, done really well every save. 

    Leeds are very good it seems too, they were in Europe places most tests. 

    Hansi Flick has become Newcastle manager a lot. 

    Everton buys Gabriel Barbosa.

    It's amazing how close the results were after twelve seasons....

    After twelve seasons, both teams look quite familiar in tactic score, my FM Lineup Tool rates R. Madrid with Echoes a 95.2 and FC Barcelona a 94.5 with Parisienne,
    Which shows to me that it was a good test to compare both tactics, as both teams are very even in quality over all those years

    What I was trying to say is that it's just a shame that the results in the longer term are often less good than with the more extreme plug & play tactics.

    Ohhh right, ive had really good results with the Echoes tactics this year. 

     

    As you said, especially with players who have great quality already.

It's cool to win for Liverpool. But I don't play for such teams. Tried 3 tactics from the doc. 
They are destroying me. I lost 6 - 1. If anyone shares their experience, what tactics they use for a weak team, I will be very grateful
