  1. Team talks don’t reset. It’s most likely just a bug in the UI in not visually showing you the effect of the talk afterwards, while the effect is still there tho. It’s just a visual thing. So I’m guessing this could be a easy fix as oppose to fixes to the other greater and more important issues right now.
  2. When it comes to oppda SI measures this the other way around actually. Instead of the final 60% like providers as wyscout or opta measure it, SI measures this in the first 60% starting from your own goal. Which explains the oppda numbers in general for fm being lower than the irl numbers we see. But I completely get the point you are making about updating the manual. Should make it easier to understand the why’s and how’s of how SI comes to certain numbers as well as what the effects of different instruction combinations will be.
  3. Reading the threads on the forums I see that all the big issues have been reported many many times already and even in a very extensive manner, so I trust SI they’re working hard on fixes. The one thing that goes a bit beyond me is that how nobody within the SI team (assumption), after all their “extensive testing” even before releasing the Beta, came to the conclusion that the ME and other aspects of the game came out so bugged right now 🤷🏻‍♂️ The general flow I’m getting here, and correct me if i’m wrong, is that attacking plays seems to work well, because the defensive plays just don’t work as they’re supposed to, or just don’t work at all. And this is actually something I highly agree with myself based on what I see in game. I saw RDF explaining this beautifully in multiple posts. But who else in here is now waiting on some kind of communication/info on when the “coming soon” actually is, or is estimated? 😋
  4. I’m hoping that the state of the ME can somewhat return into the end-state of the fm23 one, because that, in my opinion, was near perfect in attacking, defending and transitions. I trust you SI, don’t let us down 🙏🏻
  5. Personally speaking, this is just all I needed to see from Miles and the team really. You owned it, apologised and are working hard to fix things. It’s perfectly understandable if there are bugs within a new game and I bet most of us appreciate all the hard work behind closed doors. But this right here is the sort of communication I was hoping to see 👍🏻 Cheers team!
  6. By coincidence I saw it happening, and thought it would be a good addition to mention it. Thanks for your replies 👍🏻
  7. @Kyle Brown “Fun” fact tho.. I’m now watching RDF Tactic’s stream on twitch and I’m seeing the same sort of flicker happening with the season stats of a player in his stream as well 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve tried to find a clip from a former stream of his to show you this. Look closely to the stats in the bottom of the screen when RDF opens a player profile, and you can see the same flicker happening: RPReplay_Final1698011903.mov
  8. You most certainly can. I've attached the file for you here DxDiag.txt
  9. Hello guys. Now with fm24 i’m encoutering the same issue as in fm23. When hovering over an info icon with the cursor, the season stats section within a player profile screen flickers for a second. fm22 didn’t show this issue, it started on fm23 and seems to continue on fm24. Gpu drivers are up to date, same settings as all previous versions. Also tried it without any added graphics to the game, problem still stayed the same. Look at the bottom of screen (season stats) when hovering… Video_zonder_titel_Gemaakt_met_Clipchamp.mp4
  10. Hello guys. For several years in a row now Ajax’ league title history shows the wrong number. I Guess this is still a covid thing. Could this please be fixed to the correct number? The 19/20 dutch eredivisie season got cut off after which european tickets where handed out. But no actual title winner has been called. You show this very well in the game within the Eredivisie history page: Yet in the history page of Ajax itsself, you state that Ajax has won the 19/20 season and handed them a title which makes their total in game 37. Their correct number of titles won is 36. Hoping this can finally get fixed by removing the 2020 season from the history and adjust their number to 36 to reflect the realism. Cheers!
  11. All the blog posts are just outstandingly beautifull. Really looking forward to next year’s iteration of the game! Match also looking sharp again. Now I’m just hoping that all people who own a decent mid-tier laptop, could maybe play the 3d match kind of fluidly again as well? 😇 I never owned a top tier laptop, but I remember back in the day all you need really was mid-tier to enjoy a nice looking fluid 3d match. Lovely stuff SI !!
  12. Hi there! 33 year old here and playing the game non-stop since 01/02, so no inexperienced one when it comes to tactics, engines, mentality ladder, knock-on effects etc. However, I’m always looking to learn more and now there's a thing I hope to get some more reasoning and/or clarification on actually... According to the presets the Tiki Taka style of football is being played on a Positive mentality paired with a much shorter passing directness and a much lower (now lower) tempo. Now, I'm watching Daljit’s streams and vids for many many years now and I value Daljit as one of the best, if not THE best, when it comes to the ins and outs of FM. Around March of this year I onced asked Daljit on stream about how he would go about things when it comes to replicating Barcelona back from when they were the true Tiki Taka masters, passing teams to death and dominate world football for a significant period of time. The answer Daljit gave me was that you would actually go and do this on a Cautious mentality paired with, ofcourse, shorter passing and a standard tempo. Or when doing this on a Balanced mentality, a lower tempo. My question for @Rashidi, @Cleon, mods, or any other of the FM goats in here now is: What is the difference between, and the reasoning behind, the way the game has setup to play the Tiki Taka style according to the preset (positive, much shorter passing, much lower tempo), and Daljit's answer to me about replicating the Tiki Taka style that Barcelona played under Guardiola (cautious, shorter passing, standard tempo)? Cheers guys, love you all
  13. I really don't want to be a d*ck or anything, but I actually haven't experienced one single thing mentioned in here. It all works like it should. The image is just a simple example. Excuse me for the bad quality tho. Made a screenshot from a cropped vid.
  14. Hi there, In the history of past winners from the dutch Eredivisie the season 19/20 is displayed in a correct way because the league got cut off. So Ajax did not win the league this year. In Ajax' history page tho it states that Ajax has won 37 league titles, because according to this overview they did win the 19/20 league. I know Ajax got handed the UCL ticket after the 19/20 season got cut off for the sake of continuity, but this did not mean they've won the league. Could this be fixed in the future please? Ajax has won 36 league titles, not 37.
  15. Fifa decided the upcoming world cup format to consist of 48 teams in 4-team groups. To my knowledge in fm this is still the 3-team group format? Will this be adjusted via update, or is this adjustment something that will be taken into account for the next itteration of the game fm24 in November?
  16. You know it’s a great thread when it’s now 2023 and this still counts as an absolute Masterclass! 🙏🏻
  17. @Tiago Peralta Sorry for tagging, but i’m eager to contribute 😇
  18. Since Trap Inside/Outside for pressing is the equivalent for forcing players inside or outside, maybe it would be better and less confusing to use ‘force’ for the dutch language. The translation for ‘force’ would be ‘dwing’. Dwing naar binnen = Trap Inside Dwing naar buiten = Trap Outside This would easily take away the confusion because it’s also used in dutch pressing analysis this way when we talk about a team staying compact in defense and forcing the oppo outside, or vice versa
