Süper Kupa 2023 Missed a pen in the 20th and Trabzon went up 2:0 after that. But not with Andreas Belotti. He turned it around in the 2nd half. In the penalty shootout Ersin saved two pens.

IN Why the hell not. We needed one more backup CB option and Phil was free. Maybe he can play himself back to atleast a Championship team.

IN We already signed Yunus is February. Young CB with a lot of potential, he will stay at Samsunspor for the season. Lewis is the Masuaku replacement, I didnt trigger the option we had on him. He is an investment, I think within 18 months, we sell him back to England for a nice profit. I sold Aboubakar, because we managed to sign my boy Belotti. He will tear this league apart. Also the Gedson departure doesnt hurt that much, if you can sign someone like Chaalali for free I really like Roberto Pereyra in this game. He was listed for cheap, so this is a nobrainer for me. We managed to loan out Eyüp again. Bielsa loved him last season. We also invested for the future. Mehmet will take the backup RB spot and will challenge Rosier. We payed a lot for Huskovic, but he declined couple of Bundesliga teams for us. Quaresma could be a steal for 975k.

OUT Huge clear out of the U19 and some huge sales. Some tough choices were made. The big ones are Amir, Gedson, Aboubakar and Pfeiffer. Amir and Gedson needed to go, because we needed the money. For Pfeiffer we got a nice deal. Bought for 2,9 and sold for max 7 mio + 20%. After the ACL I lost my confidence in Aboubakar. He is not gettin younger, relies on his physicals and he was on almost 4 mio/year. Finances are a tough one in Turkey. We reduced the wage bill by 10-15% and I think we even improved the squad.

Man... The same answer, I want one more shot at the Süper Lig.

After one night sleep, I decided to stay at Besiktas. 2-3 weeks earlier and I would probably took the offer. I think I done some magic in the transfer window and I want to see, what Bielsa does with it.

OH! Never done Athletic Bilbao. And bringing Bielsa with me, would be an amazing story.

OK. We were just damn unlucky this season. We scored the most goals, we conceded only 8 goals more then Trabzonspor. Looking at the xG table...yeah...

Besiktas Istanbul - 2022/23 Marcelo did amazing. He got the best out of the team, his football is always risky. Combined with the injuries this season, I think he did everything you could do.

End Of Season Review - 2022/23 Amazing season in the end. I would say we were kinda unlucky with all the injuries. Aboubakar is now fit again. I think with the right additions we can win the league. Looking at the statistics and happiness I think the squad was good in the 2nd half of the season. Its time to analyse thge season and make the right moves.
