  1. +1. This could be part of a difficulty level for example during save set up. Like; A) Easy = 50% less injuries compared to real life B) Medium = 25% less injuries compared to real life C) Difficult = 100%/as realistic injury ratio as clubs in real life face I've seen loads of FM players asking for difficulty levels/increase as most of the experienced FM players find the game too easy as it currently is. They need to please all the players, so give each player the option to set up their save their way, so everyone is happy.
  2. Maxim Kireev, player from Lierse in the Belgian Challenger Pro League (2nd div.) who holds both the belgian and belarussian nationality, has been called up for the first time by the first team/senior squad of Belarus for the international break this March, which the player accepted. His declared nationality in FM has so far been Belgium, which should now be changed to declared to Belarus, as he accepted the invite and chances of him having the necessary quality to compete for a spot at the Belgium national team is as good as impossible. Please adjust for FM25. Source (in flemish, but you can translate); https://m.gva.be/cnt/dmf20240305_96593821 Thank you!
  3. Jano Willems, a young belgian centre-back who plays for Club NXT in the Belgian Challenger Pro League (2nd div.) has the wrong height even after the last update. I checked Club Brugge's website as they tend to have heights written on their website for their players but for him they dont. However, they do recognize that he is a centre-back which can also be confirmed by Sofascore and other live score apps as he has been playing regularly this season. Currently his height is 1,73m in FM, which is unrealistic and should be upped to 1,84m for a future update (FM25) as this is more accurate and also what Transfermarkt states. Source; https://www.transfermarkt.com/jano-willems/profil/spieler/1040250 Thank you!
  4. This should have been implemented a long time ago. I requested it too in detail and how it would work. Being able to start as a youth coach and work your way up would bring a whole new dynamic to the game! It would really enrich FM
  5. Amadou Onana (Everton) has the wrong height in FM, set at 1,92m, but in real life he is 1,95m, which he himself acknowledged in a new interview and adding to it (quote=) "I'm enormous, look at me. Maybe they'll tell themselves to listen to this man" referring to his teammates when asked about his leader capabilities. Source; the player himself (article written in flemish but you can translate it if you dont believe me) https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nieuws/2023-12-02/amadou-onana-straks-kapitein-bij-de-rode-duivels-ik-ben-enorm?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Please update for the January patch. Many thanks 👍🏻
  6. This is not an 'issue' but a reminder in case it wasn't or won't be noticed. Rangers have appointed belgian Nils Koppen from PSV (the Netherlands). Source + all information below from the official Rangers website; https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/rangers-complete-mens-football-011223/5QKynkhD4tiWbuGLAy5NDA Please update when you have time, i imagine this will be for the January patch. Thank you
  7. I fully agree with @Jack Currie. I also believe that having to pick a difficulty level for each save is not a bad idea and that this would please different types of FM players. FM is too easy as it is today for the hardcore players that know the game inside out.
  8. Every player in the current (FM24) match engine looks the same now besides the colour of their hair. With Unity Engine arriving for FM25 it should be possible to have more variety in the player models where you can distinguish players in height and body build. A player like Gavi for example should look like the real him when it comes to height; 1,73m so short in-game and body build athletic and slim while a player like Haaland should be shown taller than Gavi in the match engine. Stocky/muscular players should also be shown as stocky/muscular instead of having the same shape as every other player, like Harry Maguire, Romelu Lukaku and Toby Alderweireld for example who are very strong physically but are less athletic. Even FIFA and PES/eFootball have been having different player models since many years now. Im not asking for player faces/scans or precise hair styles. Just to see different player heights and builds being reflected in the match engine as it will also add much more realism and variety to the game! This would be huge! Thank you for considering!
  9. Zeno Debast who is a CB recently played a friendly with Belgium against Serbia, playing at right back. He never crossed the middle line so definetly a defensive role. This is the first time that he has played at this position, but he did a great job (i watched the entire match, just like every Belgium NT match) so i dont know if its worthy to mark right back on defense for Debast as a new position in FM, after one match, as very unfamiliar but capable ofcourse (what is the colour, a small red or orange dot?). At his team Anderlecht he won't play as RB, because Patris & Sardella cover that position, however he could well be the back-up for Castagne on RB at the Euros next summer as Meunier is out of the picture and Saelemaekers has barely participated in the qualification just like Siquet. I'll show a picture of the matchscheet ratings from Sofascore (i know, its just Sofascore, but i watched the match and indeed he played quite ok there). I'll leave it up to you what to do with this information
  10. I have raised quite a big amount of 'issues' in the bug tracker for FM24 under the Research & Database section i must say, and some issues are quite concerning because they are important. Im talking about player heights being way off even from players at top clubs like Chelsea FC, declared nationalities for several players not being updated (Arbnor Muja, Rocky Bushiri, Joris Kayembe, etc.) player's playing positions missing, even Romeo Lavia missing his Belgium debut from March! According to a post from FM the game has like 1500 researchers or something.. so why cant those who are responsable to scout/follow x club in real life check once a year before the release of a new FM on player heights and information accuracy? And i even wonder if some update the player attributes of their team at all, because many players in real life known for certain specialities are lacking those specialities in FM while other players are overrated. I understand not every club or country has researchers, but Romeo Lavia lacking his Belgium debut from March is a big mistake (who is responsable for Belgium NT and the Belgian Leagues, watching and following those leagues!?) and player heights being wrong in big clubs like Chelsea (Madueke for example) & Man City (Palmer before he joined Chelsea) is just inacceptable. Yet i dont get a free copy of FM for raising all the research and database 'issues', do i. Those who took the responsability as a researcher and head researcher for FM need to do their job right, and if they cant do it properly or dont have the time, they should leave it to someone capable.
  11. As the title says. There are currently not enough defensive player animations, like blocks (blocking a potential shot or blocking a distance shot), a bigger variety of tackles, air duels and (slightly) pushing that comes with that battle before jumping aswell as slightly pushing eachother when trying to block a rival player to head at set pieces. We need more animations overall. Thank you
  12. All leagues and nations except Hong Kong, Gibraltar, India, Malaysia, ..
  13. I've put this as a feature request/suggestion not that long ago. Hopefully they approve it for a future FM
  14. Are you even from Belgium? Because i am. Struijk is not even a topic in Belgium or for national team coach Domenico Tedesco, nor does Struijk talk about Belgium. That was all in the past. Struijk has no connection with Belgium apart from being born there, thats all. He made clear (check the article that i shared) that he wants to play for the Netherlands, and like Jeroen said he'd probably pick Indonesia as second option because of his origin. Belgium/Tedesco also have other young CB's in the picking order like Zinho Vanheusden, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Ameen Al-Dakhil and Koni De Winter, so chances are incredibly slim that Struijk would be called up for Belgium anyway. So i disagree with you and i'll leave it at that. End of discussion.
  15. When a player clearly says that he wants to play for the Netherlands and even has been close to playing for them already it just not isnt realistic to see him play for Belgium. Nobody in Belgium thinks or believes Struijk will play for Belgium. It breaks the realism in FM in this particular case.
  16. Rocky Bushiri from Hibernian should be declared to Congo DR national team instead of Belgium. Source: https://www.transfermarkt.com/rocky-bushiri/profil/spieler/511802 Thank you.
  17. The player himself said that he wants to play for the Netherlands (see link to article) so he shouldnt be playing for any other country in FM, only the Netherlands.
  18. Hello, ive noticed that in some saves Pascal Struijk from Leeds (english second division) ends up playing for Belgium instead of the Netherlands, despite having declared for the Netherlands in real life. Maybe he is not yet set as declared for the Netherlands in FM, can you check? Thank you. Source; (in dutch) https://www.voetbalprimeur.be/nieuws/1051624/geen-rode-duivels-voor-struijk-leeds-verdediger-kiest-voor-oranje.html
  19. You are right, this isnt a fault of the researchers but new information. However, where else can i report this information if its not the database & research section? I rather report it anyways just in case it goes unnoticed . Thank you
  20. Sofiane Diop from Nice in the french first division has been called up by Morocco, and has accepted, thus declared. Please modify. Source; https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2023/ogc-nices-sofiane-diop-opts-to-play-for-morocco-and-receives-first-call-up/ Thank you.
  21. Pablo Maffeo from Mallorca in the spanish first division has been called up for Argentina and has accepted, thus declared for them. Please modify. See official Argentina squad selection (picture) as source.
  22. Aboubakary Koita, player of STVV (Sint-Truiden) in the belgian first division has been called up by Mauritania and has accepted, thus declared himself for Mauritania now. He also holds belgian and senegalese nationality. Source: (in dutch) https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nieuws/2023-11-10/oproepingsbrief-voor-topper-uit-jupiler-pro-league-is-geen-goed-nieuws-voor-zijn-team?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Thank you
  23. I can confirm. Weird that the club name hasn't changed and that David Villa wasn't set as the owner as i reported this when it was official in real life (with proof). I guess the researchers dont give much importance to this as Benidorm isnt in a playable league, but still, they should apply changes and modify when there are reports. Hopefully it gets fixed rather sooner than later.
  24. Hey @Graeme Kelly. I just saw your comment under the FM24 benchmark thread and noticed that you are one of the specialists involved in the processing speed of the game. Maybe my suggestion can be of interest for you for future FM's. I dont want to bother you in any way and i appreciate all the work and improvements you've done so far, but maybe my suggestion can be useful and thus i wanted to tag you as you seem the man in charge of processing. If my idea is rubbish no worries, i just thought it was good to share my idea/suggestion, you never know it could be useful for you guys Thanks
