  1. "Basics" still not working properly in this version such as average player wage calculation for all player types being displayed as "0"....not very helpful...:
  2. I have just been going through my player contracts to determine whose to renew. Decided to ho to Finances, Wages to see the min, max and average wage that I am currently paying for each Player Type Banding (Star, Important, Regular Starter etc). Unfortunately all the average as shown as 0 - not much use really. Never experienced this problem in previous versions of SI so presumably it has arisen as an unintended consequence of some coding updates, changes. Hopefully you are already aware of this and it will be added to the list of things to fix. Should be easy to replicate via finances, wages.

Just played Carabao Cup match, as Chelsea, against Man City and their best performing player so far has be Kevin de Bruyne - has average rating in last 5 games of 8.10 and Premier League to date rating of 7.67. He was playing as a DLP and I decided to man mark him with Mason Mount my AMC (R) Advanced Playmaker. As always, i watched the match on comprehensive and Mount stuck to his task and nullified de Bruyne's influence on the game. We won 2-0 with de Bruyne getting a rating of 6.3.   4. After the release of the 21.4 update I did a full season test of Full Match Engine Stats versus Quick Match Engine stats. There were improvements in several areas but significant differences still remained for certain stats which undermine scouting/search comparisons. My test gave 70% penalty success rate over full season for FME with 77% for QME - 20/21 season actual in Premier League was 83%. The 70% success rate in my detailed test was below the 75-80% SI soak tests indicated by @FrazT, inless the soak test was based upon QME.... Fll details of my stat tests were:
  5. I have indeed seen the post. I understand that the player ratings algorithm has been changed and that the new “average” is 6.7 but this doesn’t mean that the new algorithm is perfect and fairly balanced for all the different roles and formations. I did detailed testing on stats inconsistencies between full match engine and quick match engine and ratings imbalances will affect things like international call ups....
  6. I can relate to this. I have been using a successful back 3 tactic with a Libero with fewest goals conceded and most goals scored. My libero nearly always shows as 6.5-6.6 during the match with his final rating often improving suddenly to 6.7-6.8 at final whistle (a final smoothing adjustment under the hood?). My libero rarely gets a rating over 7 during the season with the placers in the other two DC roles always, always getting better ratings. I watch games on comprehensive highlights and just after going 2-0 up in 90+2 minute of Champions League Game the screen kept flashing as players went to kick off with waiting for next highlight whiring round but no advance to 90+2 time. Obviously didnt want to exit game and eventually managed to finish it by changing setting to text only to get to 90+4 and end of match. First time I have encountered this and hoping a one off glitch. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a one off or "known issue" that may recur? Feedback appreciated. I have saved my long term save for now...
  8. Based upon full season test after 21.4, dribbles per Quick Match Engine are compatible with “real world” equivalent . Unfortunately, crosses in the Fill Match Engine are almost double their “real world” equivalent. The game is not broken and unplayable but for players who like the immersion and use stats when comparing/scouting players etc there are clearly still issues between the FME and QME. I believe the implementation of xG and associated changes to event definitions has impacted FME v QME and their “real world” equivalents. Hopefully these will be addressed in future versions of FM.

  10. I have just received the Opposition Report before my Champions League Final against Liverpool. Unbelievably there is "not enough data available to create visualisation". So both teams have played 6 group matches and all the double leg knockout games to reach the final and the scouts/analysts do not have enough data to give me any feedback on Liverpool in the Champions League this season on their journey to the final. Words fail me....

  13. Deleting cache and preferences and then reloading game seems to fix this issue for me. Need to load all my custom views again but at least /90 now showing..at last....   14. Just deleted cache and preferences, as per instructions, and loaded save game. It seems that all my custom views will have to be loaded again (lucky that I saved them) and pleased to confirm Custom Stats screen /90 does indeed seem to be working now...I did not verify integrity of files as cache/preferences seemed to fix. Pity I didnt know about this earlier. Would this perhaps fix issues that other people are still experiencing after 21.4? If so then it may be worth SI suggesting people try this.... Many thanks.
  15. And also fix the /90 (per 90 mins) stats still not working in custom views....Need to do more QA/testing of basic features to ensure they work before adding new ones...still lots to sort on FM21 ...very disappointing release this year...
