  1. It would be good to know how much of the QA team work directly for SI and how many of them there are. I remember Cyberpunk 2077 when it came out bug-riddled, it was found out that they got an external company for their QA. And the QA team werent being very honest with the results. I don´t know if that is a common practise in the game industry to use external QA testers. Could that be the reason why alot of games are coming out buggy?
  2. Thats the hum dinger. May or may not fix. The game engine is the best by far, but i feel the focus this year was that and forgot about outside of the match engine. We pretty much have all the tools at our disposal to be able to make the game more enjoyable, but the tools are not working correctly. Im totally against the principle of purposely making the game difficult for yourself by blatently ignoring issues. I´d imagine if this was a perfectly patched up game, doing the things it was meant to be doing, we could finally see the trees in the forest and the only complaints would be in regards to people setting up the wrong players in the wrong tactics. Its just people do not know if its too hard or too easy because its broken or their tactics are wrong... just so many variables. If people knew what to look out for and we had an actual bug list, people would be able to have a clearer picture in their head of what they are seeing. It would also stop all the forum snipìng!

  6. I wouldnt blame the end-user for not being challenged. But you are pointing out the faults with the game which are not the end-users fault. They want the game to challenge them. A few points you made Overpowered gegenpress - you should need the right players to play the system in the first place, which we don´t have to at present DoF handle transfers - because we all know the DOF is dumb in-game and sign you random players that dont fit your system or personality, so lack of AI intelligence punishes you Don't sign high pace players - Why would anyone want slow players on their team unless they had amazing stats in other areas? Pace is always an advantage anyway, but against a low block or double marking a player in real life helps remove that advantage Anyone that actually wanted to challenge themselves - had bought football manager because in previous editions without all the flashing lights and stuff, it was a challenge. But also because we were not given the right tools to deal with situations. Now we have the tools to help us, they dont quite work right. If i was the fastest sprinter in my school and won every year, do you think i should slow down so its a challenge or go to a place where i could be challenged better? Thats the point of a new version of a game coming out every year, should be more challenging than the last.
  7. Don´t think they will.... FM24 is already legacy code and to be honest, if it was me, i would want to move on from FM24 asap if FM25 is being re-written from scratch. In that way all code is fresh and everybody in SI fully understand the system, instead of some legacy code written by an ex-employee 5 years ago. I think they should´ve just skipped this edition and just bug fixed FM23 to FM24 DLC and fully pushed for FM25 next year!
  8. It all depends on a system. Its not a one size fits all, it all depends on whats going on around the F9 as well. Are you having issues with it?
  9. In what formation? What style of play? Ive used it in a 4-2-3-1 system, genpress, postive with 1 IF and 1 IW. Worked well for me, but my false 9 also has a very high work rate
  10. So in my game Doku has only played like 15 games over 3 seasons and Man City basically have the same team whilst also letting go alot of their youth players. Rico is still not being played at the age of 21, because he isnt being developed early enough. Take Saka for example, he played 20 something games at 18 and has developed into the player he is today. I see Rico being in that boat but by the time he´s 21 in-game, he is not getting the level of development Saka has had
  11. I think they should split reputation into a few catagories. Have catagories in Player rewards (more rewards, more rep) Injury Prone (more injuries, lower rep) Personality (could work both ways, extremely lazy, Neymar, or professional Messi) Media Mentions (Player on form or something amazing) should be dynamic all season National Rep (league dependent) Updates once a season International Rep (Call-ups) Updates once a season I think the rep doesnt update often enough throughout the season, as form players get bought up pretty quickly and out of form "famous" players always get bought up too!! Ive always envisioned FM having like a back page of a paper pop up every now and again with stories of your local league or country, where you could really feel the world your playing in Also with the 'backpage' thats another way to add rep to players without the needs of rewards. Just my take on it

My feedback is, 4 days after release, the game is still not playable as a long-term save due to the following reasons J-League still incomplete (still no update with regards to the situation) Player interactions very short and abrupt and most of the time ends in negative (where´s the extra 2000 AI convos??) Im MK Dons, 3rd season in, won the League 2 and League 1, now sitting pretty top of Championship (Signed the likes of Deli Ali and Jesse Lingard whilst in League 2 and League 1, they not really top performers tbh), seem to breeze the leagues too easily Player contracts are very unpredictable. If i promise player we will be promoted, he wants about more money. If i dont, less money (Player should have a option to ask for his wage to be reviewed once promoted!!) Opp teams are subbing 85th minute to the 90th minutes, far too late in game Team talks have no effect before game and during half-time(so i constantly interact in-game, part of the reason i think im winning too easily as well, because i doubt the AI does this as much) GK still being injured too often, though during my 3rd season, seems to have mellowed on my side Still weird graphical glitches where the previous highlight of an offside line, would still be on the next highlight (been there since FM21, so im not even going to report it as a bug, as your moving match engine anyway) Media interactions still get things wrong, I come back from 2-0 down only to be asked by media why did i throw away a comfortble lead Big teams stockpiling youth players and not playing them. Saw Doku only played a total of 15 league games in 3 seasons, and Man City basically have the same team!! Teams like Arsenal and Man City are also letting some really good youth players go (My MK Dons side have about 8 Arsenal rejects, 2 Liverpool rejects and 1 Man City) The AI at present is the worst its ever been. I think the last time player interactions were this bad was FM21 or FM22 i think, but you guys patched it up pretty quick. Thats my feedback and this is my opinion.
  13. SI, why cannot you bring the player history talks? I’ve forgotten what I’ve said or last spoke to players and in previous versions, before fm22 I think, the option was there. Also could you give players an option to save the previous season stats. Even if it’s a file that would have to load whenever you select the player. It’s frustarating that you cannot see last seasons stats without saving the game before the stats reset. These things are beneficial to the player. A lot more than graphics and face paint.
  14. This is when SI make things too complicated. Anyone can have a preferred formation, but if I’m employing you and I play a certain way, I expect players of that style and calibre. It’s not like the director of football is physically watching the players, he’s delegating or using his contacts in the football world
  15. I don’t even know why they bother with this whole feature…. We never see the manager again once in game… not even sitting in a press conference! It’s one of the most pointless features ever! Reminds me of Cyberpunk when you design how you player looks and only times you see the character is in the mirror in your home!

Just had another random arguement with a player and then got me thinking.... i argued with other players before in all previous FM's (and i do know players can be childish) but then i remember the '2000' AI responses SI had claimed to be added to FM24. I had completely forgot about the potential conversations i could've had with players that would have resolved an arguement over length of time... but because the game engine was so good... i forgot. Now im getting into the nitty gritty and onto my 3rd season, i have realised the conversations are near enough the same as previous editions. Basically 2 chances talking to you player then over!. I thought the 2000 Ai responses wouldve filled out the conversation more. Making the player/agent a bit more real. But it still feels to me, 2 chance saloon, then bully the player into submission like Alex Ferguson. I always start off with best Coaching badges but the lower league football rep option, as i always like the 'Mourinio' career, so i understand the 'mentality' aspect of FM...(basically consistantly berate 'professional' players) but honestly SI... fill out the conversation and humanise the player/agents a bit more so its easier for US players to figure out what answer is right, without offending the player
  18. I think si should bring back the old school regens for like 2% of the players. The old way of regens was, say Messi retired…. A regen version of Messi would exist. I think that’s what would bring the generational wonderkids back!
  19. But that is the point… enjoying it for what it is… not what was promised. It’s not a dig… but everyone on here have their version of what ‘playable, is. Personally for me, a game I’ve been waiting for since the last version, that wasn’t 100% perfect, to be promised to be the best FM for its generation, plus I play journeyman saves… anti climax.

  21. Miles said in a interview, in an ideal world, if the game is patched up and working, he would want all the developers to finish FM24 by December and concetrate on FM25. Obviously would have support still.... just wont be patched up as much after December
