  1. Yeah... and the only thing that intrigues me is that the AI is clearly equipped with more than 1 formation.. But only uses the first one..
  2. Yes , the winning teams don't change, but as i was saying... i am referring to teams that are in bad form like in the example above. Take Sheff Utd IRL... they lined up with a 5-3-2 at the beginning of the season, now they used a 4-4-2 against United. No reason why AI couldn't be more flexible if they are in a bad run of form since they do have more than 1 formation at their disposal
  3. I still think the AI managers should be more flexible with how they pick their squad and formation. Can anyone from SI explain to me why the AI managers profile have 2 formations and they only use one of them even if the lose game by game ? For example this team... Managed by this guy who has 4-4-2 his first and 4-2-3-1 his second. Will he ever try to use 4-2-3-1 if his 4-4-2 fails every time? NO , he plays every single game a 4-4-2 although his squad def has players for a 4-2-3-1. Would love to know the logic behind AI squad selection , because SI says it was improved on this game. LOOK at his squad... He has so many AMR/AML/AMC and he uses a 4-4-2 although it's clearly stated he has 4-2-3-1 as another pref formation... Right now i dont know if i should raise a bug report or if its intended behavior
  4. Yes, some tactics like 5-2-3, 5-2-1-2., 5-2-2-1.. Just name them 3-4-3, 3-4-1-2 and 3-4-2-1 like the rest of the planet calls them... I ve never heard anyone call a 3-4-1-2 a 5-2-1-2 IRL
  5. Or goalkeepers too bad? Ive seen some high scores in which all shots on goal were goals.

  7. Interesting stuff about the libero role. But will this role be available for some regen/managers generated by the game?
  8. Would love to see for the release a little bit more tactical flexibility for the AI. This is how an AI manager that has 2 pref formation on his profile lines up his team. He only starts his first formation, the second one is mostly ignored until last 15 minutes or so of the games. Surely since both formations are quite common it would be logical that the AI would use a mix of both at startups depending on the opposition ? I think i also raised this during FM 23 , when the AI managers improvements were advertised.
  9. Regarding this test, the fact that in some leagues like SPANISH LA LIGA 2 have a much higher gpg in FM than real life is because IRL in those league the teams are much more cautious than in FM. Could be that the AI managers are set too use too attacking fromations for those leagues?
  10. I dont think its the same. I just said earlier that i had a 15 and 16 year old called up to the u21 national team. Never happened in Fm23 where they would be called up at 18

  12. Just a minor thing i noticed when getting scout reports on the next opponent Would love to see the AI managers try to use more of their other formations when in a bad streak of form. They do seem to have 2 pref formations in their profile but use mostly on the first one regardless if they underperform with it.
  13. Well, yesterday the save was crashing on a certain date but today when i loaded the game it went fine with no crashes.. Other than i had no issues whatsoever
  14. My 15 and 16 years old top prospects from my FM23 save have just been called up to the U21 national team... never happened in FM 23.
  15. Strangely enough i loaded my game today and it doesn't crash anymore. I don't know whats changed but i didn't do anything either to the game or to my PC. If i see it crashing again will post.

  18. What is the date as a curiosity? My save crashes on 30 august. It's a save i continued from FM 23
  19. Love that you can now see 1st half stats and 2nd half stats at the end of a game
  20. AI are using too often a mezalla in a 4-4-2 which is totally unrealistic. All teams that use 4-4-2 IRL have 2 holding midfielders. Using a mezalla would mean suicide.. Please SI replace the AI 4-4-2 WITH 4-4-2 DM as they are unable to defend with flat 442
  21. The only issues i found so far with the ME are the high number of corners per game and the 4-4-2 formation which for Ai means too many goals conceded. Maybe it would be best of the 4-4-2 used 2 DM's? Like its used IRL
  22. Some high scoring games i've seen in my save are caused by the too large amount of corners per game. It's too easy too score from corners from what i've seen
