  1. Same for me. I played my first season with Racing Mechelen, and I have lost €1.5m. Prove. As I play youth only I didn't sign any players. This is an overview from my expenses. This is completely unrealistic. As I'm a supporter of Racing Mechelen, I know that we had the last 2 seasons only a very small financial loss, see official annual accounts. So please, review the finances in Belgium as it is almost unplayable at the moment. Last year the same issue was raised, and nothing has changed, it even got worse. 1 other bug: all the teams that got promoted from the 4th tier turn full professional, and this is also completely wrong.
  2. But the good thing is that youth teams (U18 & U21) play competitive games.
  3. Racing Mechelen - 1ste Amateur (3th tier) - Season 2023-2024 Predicted: 18th Final position: 14th We had a rough start with only 1 win and 4 losses in our first 5 games. But afterwards we played better, and got some good results. We were always between 10th and 14th place. Although I only finish in the last safe position, and were never really in any relegation battle. 2 out of the 4 promoted teams got back to back promotions. @XaW: you know 1 of those teams, so no pressure. Games 1 Games 2 Cup: didn't care about the cup, but made it to the 5th round where we were well beaten by a second division team. Transfers: None, of course Youth intake: We had an incredible preview (1, 2), and the actual intake (1, 2) didn't disappoint at all. I've signed all but the bottom 2 players, but the youngsters all wanted €500/week. Not realistic at all. Aloysius Fisher (YP1a): ST Kingsley Tagoe (YP1b): AMC Noah De Poorter (YP1c): DC/DL Haytam Idrissi (YP1d): DL Théo Bidault: (YP1e): DR A couple of the signed youngsters will get some game time next season, as a couple of first teamers have disappoint me this season. Finances: Terrible!! We lost €1.5 million this season. If no investments of the board will happen, I'm afraid that this game will become unplayable. This is an overview of the expenses this season. Completely unrealistic. In real life we have turned brake even or even made a small profit the last 3 seasons, even during corona. No team in real life can survive these losses in a 3th division. @XaW: as you are also playing in Belgium, do you encounter the same financial issues? I know from previous FM's that the finances in Belgium are a mess, but never had these losses.
  4. I thought that the 4th tier isn't playable at the start, only visible. But when you get relegated you can play in the 4th tier with the relegated team (if you don't get sacked )
  5. I would check the rules of the league. I'm pretty sure that there is stated that Rapperswil can't get promoted. I'm afraid that this is a team that can't be used for this challenge.
  6. Yes, that part looks good. But there is a bug in the cup, as the youth teams enter the cup too, just like in FM22 with Club NXT. At that was never solved last year.
  7. Just had my first youth intake preview. Never had such an excellent preview ever. Part 1 Part 2 Probably it will be the worst intake ever, but at least I can dream.
  8. Youth costs are 44k, but all promoted teams are professional teams, and the wages are way too high.
  9. Finances in Belgium seems to be even worse than in previous seasons, losing 150k every month.
  10. I'm still not sure that the amount of games is decreased. You never know in Belgium.
  11. Meet the new manager of my favorite team in the world, Racing Mechelen. For Belgium: save on the 1th of April to get new teams, then holiday until June the 30th.
  12. My team Racing Mechelen in Belgium. And in FM23 I only have to holiday for 1 year, after back-to-back promotions in real life.
  13. St. Paul actually finished 3th in the Caribbean Club Championship, so it seems that the football in St. Kitts and Nevis isn't that bad. We also received the message that the draw for the first round was mad, and we face a team from St. Lucia. Let's hope we gain some money, so we at least become semi-professional. St. Paul plays in the NACL champions league. This is great progress for St. Kitts and Nevis football.
  14. Youths of the future - 1th division - Season 2023-2024 Predicted: 12th Final position: 2nd Again, didn't saw this coming. Firts half of the season was incredible. 8 wins and 3 draws, and were the leaders with some points ahaid. But in the second half we struggled with scoring goals. We drew a lot more games, but only lost for the first time after 17 games. We also lost the next game. St. Paul had won 13 games in a row, and after the second loss, against St. Paul, the title race was over. But we had an incredible first season in the top league, and we could hold on our 2nd position. Games 1: Games 2: Cup: We also had an incredible cup run. We made it to the final and pushed St. Paul until the end. In the 83th minute we took a red card, and from that moment on we just tried t survive. We survived, but lost after a lottery named penalties. Youth intake: we had a good preview (forgot to take a screenshot) and the intake itself was even better. I signed all players. Josh Watson (YP2a): AMC: starter next season Kirae Clayton (YP2b): AMC, but will be retrained as an AMR. Starter next season Dennis Jones (YP2c): DC: starter next season Conor Hewitt (YP2d): AMC, but will be retrained as MC: starter next season Transfers: 1 outgoing. My 2nd GK. Can become a problem as I now only have 1 GK left. Finances: Good, we gained some money during the season. We had also our first call-up for the National Team. It was only for the U20, but this is a start
  15. Yes, Caribbean Club Championship it is. It seems that you are right, as at the start of the new season that competition is still not finished. So, I will stay in St. Kitts. BTW, I'm still amateur and the chairman is not willing to upgrade anything at the moment. Update of the season will follow tomorrow.
  16. My attempt in St. Kitts & Nevis is put on hold. I just finished 2nd and lost the cup final. Both times St. Pauls was the winner. No message about qualifying for a continental cup. At the start of the new season St. Pauls & Superstars qualified again for the interncontinental cup. Superstars finished 3th in the league and lost in the first round of the cup. New country to choose. Probably go for St. Vincent and Grenadines as I like the colours in the flag and I know that that country don't have any issues. I hope you don't mind I join you @WhiteCat33?
  17. Youths of the future - 2nd division - Season 2022-2023 Predicted: 9th Final position: 1th and champion Didn't saw this one coming. We overachieved a lot and won the league. We won the first game of the season, but couldn't win any of the follwong 4 games. After 5 games we were 8th at that point I thought we would have a very difficult season. We just couldn't score enough. But out of the blue we won the next 5 games, and from that point we were always around 1th postion. Just before the last game of the season we were 2nd, 1 point behind Southstar. And the last game was at home against the leaders who were already sure of promotion. We blow them away and won the game 5-2. We were champions!! Games 1 Games 2 Cup: We lost in the QF against another 2nd division team after penalties. We were 1-0 up until the 87 min, and then they scored with there only shot on target. We lsot after penalties Youth intake: We had a good preview, and the actual intake didn't disappoint. Kieran Pilkington (YP1a): ST, and straight into the starting 11 Craig Scott (YP1b): GK, will be the starting GK next season. Meng Khoon Nottingham (YP1c): AML, straight into the first 11 Transfers: Only 1 outgoing Finance: Still in black. And I could upgrade youth recruitement once As I don't think we are ready to play in the 1th division I'm pretty sure we will come back down, and when that happens I just hope that won't kicked out.
  18. Yes, correct and that's what I missed. Thanks a lot for all your replies.
  19. @V50: It seems to be OK in the next season. So, you can forget this.
  20. FC Superstars. They were always runners-up in the cup and the league. Their U18 won the league, but that's the only thing that FC Superstars have won. I will play until the start of the next season, but if this stays like this, I'm afraid that I will need to restart in a new country.
  21. I think I found a breaking issue in St. Kitts & Nevis. @V50, can you please check why FC Superstars is playing in Caribbean Club Championship although they haven't won anything. Title and cup winners from the last 2 seasons, St. Paul isn't playing any international up games. Thanks in advance.
  22. Couldn't resist the challenge and the database of @V50, and I started the challenge in a country that isn't used by anyone (I think ). So I started in St. Kitts and Nevis. Meet the new manager of Youth Of The Future. The perfect team name for this challenge. According the odds I should narrowly avoid relegation, and that is enough for me. Probably the progress will be slow, as I just started a new job, and I only have some time during the weekends.
