  1. A bit of a tongue in cheek comment here... ... can we please have an option to tell the Ass Man to STFU! In a relegation battle match losing 3-1 and telling me we are in control of the match, PFFFFT! The match finished 5-3 to the opposition
  2. Don't worry I'm not going to turn this into a career update but with 8 games remaining I've managed to pull myself out of a relegation battle - although I am still in one essentailly. However, I am essentially 3 wins from the magic 50 point mark. Thank for reading my initial rant I think it was to gain some sort of perspective.
  3. Exactly what I plan to do, it doesn't stop me from getting frustrated though. However, I hear ya! I'm honestly unsure how FM24 works my board are really not happy with me and they reduced my wage budget even more now because the clubs finances are insecure. However, I have a 3rd round tie with Chelsea at their place - it should give us a few £££'s.
  4. ... I've been playing FM for quite some time and I have always been a Lower League Manager starting at VNN or VNS and never getting into the Premiership. My previous save (FM22) to the one I am playing (FM23-FM24) now I did get Curzon Ashton into the Championship but quit playing after I got relegated back to League One. I've had my current save since FM23 with Dulwich Hamlet and into my 8th season find myself in the Championship and yet again not doing very well, from 12 games I only have 4 points and sadly rock bottom of the division. I know there is a lot of of the season to go to turn it around but I feel the inevitable relegation is going to come my way again - but this time I will not quit. This season I am in now I have a wage budget of £88k with the nearest team to me in that regard in the divsion have their wage spending at £180k. I really don't want to go over my wage budget so I have been budgeting for that instance, a lot of players I wanted even though they were on something like £1.5k a week wages kept asking me for wages of £8k+ to come and play with me. So I generally had to stay with a lot of the players I had when I got promoted and nit picked a couple of players from Scotland who seemed quite decent but honestly have done nothing for my team at all. I tried my LLM tactics I had throughout the previous seasons and just kept getting hammered everytime so far, I just can't seem to stop the crosses coming into my area even if I instruct my team to work at stopping crosses they get given daft fouls against them or give away corners where the crosses come in anyway it seems six of one of half a dozen of another in that regard. I was so pleased when they brought in the Set Piece Coach thing. However, I would like to actually see what my set piece coach is instrucing my players in doing without some Set Piece Responsibility screen blanking out the set piece page - but hey it is what it is. The lack of decent Set Piece Coaches seems a little ridiculous too, I've had to find non set piece coaches to be my set piece coaches because the Set Piece Coach availability is so poor. I know I should be focusing on my strengths in this league - but everything I am trying just seems to be getting thrown in my face as a bad idea concerning the matches and my tactics used - I think it is going to be an undoubted bad season for me and my team and I will find myself back in League One with Dulwich Hamlet unless for some reason the board decide to sack the clubs idol. It's been a while since I had a moan in this forum but I hope you guys are having a great early May Bank Holiday! Have a great day and speak again soon.
  5. I see them now - clicking through discuss traits and selecting the relevant training for each trait to remove. I just wasn't looking in the right area Again thanks - the replys are appreciated.
  6. Thanks for the replys - would this be affected by my training facilities I was wondering? Although I am in League One with Dulwich Hamlet my training facilities are Below Average...
  7. ... I sware in previous versions you could ask your coaches etc to work on removing traits? However I can not seem to find a way to do it on FM24 - is there a way or no?
  8. So I am re-raising this issue because I have a whole new computer and the same issue persists. Has there been an actual fix to this rather than the 'reload skin' fix? This is a picture after I reload.
  9. How many players do I have to have on international duty before getting the option to move a game? Do these players all have to be in the main international squads and not U18s international squad? Where are the rules written in-game for this type of thing?
  10. Apologies if I am teaching a granny to suck eggs here. However, there are settings in-game where you can essentially create a more difficult game or if you so wish a more easier game. For instance how you set-up your coaching experience at the start of the game, I'm sure this is kind of a difficulty setting and then there is the database settings where after you select the leagues you want to play in there is a setting you can still change where you play with a small, medium and large database - where essentially you get far less of a chance to get players if you choose a small database.
  11. It does seem like the 'Reload Skin' is the way forward for this issue for the time being even on medium settings the lighting got poor - so I will persist with this till you may get an eventual fix. Thank you for your time and patience
  12. I have literally just turned down my 'Graphics' settings to medium prior to reading this message and it 'seemed' to fix the problem. However, this may have been a reload thing as you stated - will keep an eye on it.
  13. The REC file is called 'Maidstone vs Dulwich bad lighting.rec' and the save file is called 'Jon Foster - bad lighting.fm' This bad lighting issue was throughout the whole match and didn't change at half time as usual, you barely make out the shirt colours even though the colours are completely different. All graphics settings are set as 'high' except anti-aliasing which is set to 'medium'. Thanks again for your time and patience.
  14. **EDIT** I was meant to say 1060 not 1660, apologies.
  15. Scratch what I said about save scumming the friendly - I saved the game by mistake after the friendly so I have carried on from the screenshots that have been posted.
