So I am re-raising this issue because I have a whole new computer and the same issue persists. Has there been an actual fix to this rather than the 'reload skin' fix? This is a picture after I reload.

How many players do I have to have on international duty before getting the option to move a game? Do these players all have to be in the main international squads and not U18s international squad? Where are the rules written in-game for this type of thing?

Apologies if I am teaching a granny to suck eggs here. However, there are settings in-game where you can essentially create a more difficult game or if you so wish a more easier game. For instance how you set-up your coaching experience at the start of the game, I'm sure this is kind of a difficulty setting and then there is the database settings where after you select the leagues you want to play in there is a setting you can still change where you play with a small, medium and large database - where essentially you get far less of a chance to get players if you choose a small database.

It does seem like the 'Reload Skin' is the way forward for this issue for the time being even on medium settings the lighting got poor - so I will persist with this till you may get an eventual fix. Thank you for your time and patience

I have literally just turned down my 'Graphics' settings to medium prior to reading this message and it 'seemed' to fix the problem. However, this may have been a reload thing as you stated - will keep an eye on it.

The REC file is called 'Maidstone vs Dulwich bad lighting.rec' and the save file is called 'Jon Foster - bad lighting.fm' This bad lighting issue was throughout the whole match and didn't change at half time as usual, you barely make out the shirt colours even though the colours are completely different. All graphics settings are set as 'high' except anti-aliasing which is set to 'medium'. Thanks again for your time and patience.

Scratch what I said about save scumming the friendly - I saved the game by mistake after the friendly so I have carried on from the screenshots that have been posted.

Sorry for being quite vague with the match date and time 'I think' it was the Gateshead Home match on the 8/3/2025 at 3pm. It happened quite a lot throughout the deep winter months in England - as I have moved into the spring time on my save it doesn't seem to happen so much now. If it helps I use a Nvidia GTX 1660 3gb and my graphics settings are set to the default the game sets it up as. However, I have messed around with the control panel a bit on more of a system performance spec rather than quality. Added the PKM file - I hope I have done it right? The last few matches I have played I haven't noticed the issue. However, once I experience the issue again I'll post a screenshot for sure. In one match I played I noticed I had some darkness in my match then I interacted with say 'player instructions' and I came back to the match and it wasn't so dark. If it is of any help I noticed more prevalent darkness in the months Dec, Jan and Feb which is deep winter on my save so maybe an issue somewhere?

...the beginning of every match I have played so far since the update the first 45 minutes are really dark and can barely make out the shirt colours - the 2nd half is like BANG(!) there are the floodlights.

@Jack722 is on point. The problem with things are even though the AI is getting more intuitive (which I applaud) our own tactic management is stuck in the dark ages. I agree that changing tactics throughout the season is generally a good thing. However, the gauges like familiarity make you feel like you are doing something wrong as if stating "Do not do this" if you are someone that changes tactics throughout the season. @Jack722 points out that doing a lot of player management things will help out slumps and this I do agree with, for example praising conduct to each and every player once every couple of months is quite a good thing to do you barely get a negative reaction, the problem is this elongates my season a tad plus other things that I do concerning player management and I never understand how FM players tear through a season in a matter of days. When I first played FM it used to take me a whole month to get through a season I have now cut it down to about 2 -3 weeks with a few tweaks here and there concerning managing the actual match. However, I do feel this is still far too long to be playing a season and would really like to cut it down some more.

Sadly, we won't get a fix as the last major update has passed. I hope they fix this for the next FM that comes out.

I have to agree with the people here complaining of this, why are CBs ridiculously losing condition every match! I have versatile players that can play CB and CM when they play CM condition acts normal. However, I play them in a CB role condition is lost at a ridiculous rate.

... I got a notification that the board will get back to me concerning my request. However, I never received the email stating whether I can have more coaches or not or even to discuss it and in my board profile it doesn't even state that I made the request. The strange thing is this was in pre season in May, I am now in September and still can not request more coaches I feel it should have procced by now. Any suggestions on what to do or just wait it out?

I found when managing a lower league team if you have lower league rivalries setting home matches with these bring in significant revenue, it doesn't cost much to set up and you get great gates. Sadly, with Bermondsey Town they have no rivalries at all so in this save I can not take advantage of this

Thanks for your help on this, I'm on a 24" Desktop Monitor. I'm at 100% Standard Size so the zoom isn't the problem, I am very sure I had more panels - but can't for the life of me figure what's happened to the panels that 'were' there

There were slight UI tweaks concerning the way the options were laid out.

I understand that, even though this years set piece UI has had a 'slight' rework - the same issues persist from the last iterations. I feel the set piece UI needs a complete overhaul and that is not going to happen on a full release I'm afraid.
