Just to clarify, I was Arsenal, leading 1-0. Meret of Napoli on losing side.

Checking your save file, your keeper wants to be playing Sweeper Keeper on Defend, while you have him as a Sweeper Keeper on Support.
If you have other examples, please send more saves files so we can examine, thank you.
I'm having this with Declan Rice playing as a DM(D), fully comfortable but claims to feel unsuited to it.

So, think I know what's happening - when I "re-order" the entries (e.g. order by "type") I think the editor visually re-orders but gets confused as if the items are actually in the original place...

I think kit selection generally needs some work - looking at the "kit selection" function on the editor (which has a graphics issue already flagged) - as Arsenal we only are due to wear the green third kit at Burnley, which makes little sense. A lot of the FIFA and UEFA guidance to teams has been on having a predominantly light kit and predominantly dark kit for easy differentiation - so, by that logic, you'd expect Arsenal to wear green at Luton, yellow at Burnley - probably green at Wolves too.
Edit: when looking at other sides there's an obvious need to change and select green, against Roma, Blackpool, Lens, Galatasaray - it's red away to Lens, yellow at Blackpool, yellow at Roma (debatably correct given dark shade of red they wear) and green at Galatasaray.

Just loaded up the release version:
- Arsenal's season ticket cup games is incorrect - we've now got only 3 x european group games, but no fa cup games. It should now read 3 x UCL, 3 x UEL & 3 x UECL - but no FA Cup
- There's no third GK kit (it's bright green shirt, black shorts, bright green socks - similar template to Man Utd's)
- Home socks have different designs for PL & non-PL games

Hmm, you may be right, @llama3 - the one in the database that might do the trick looks like it's on the inside of the leg, but I'll test it and change it if it's the better option. Thanks again!
Ace Pete, thanks you guys doing a superb job.

Declan Rice is suspended for my first 2 x UCL games - he hasn't had any kind of carry over ban from UEL with West Ham in real life... I haven't played a UCL game yet for him to pick up a card

Arsenal have had a change to season ticket cup matches - now only 3 european group games are included, no FA Cup games. So the number of games included should read 3 for UCL (plus also 3 for UEL and 3 for UECL) and 0 for FA Cup.

Thanks @llama3 - I realise that this is not ideal, but we cannot match exactly the current real life home sock design with the options available to us in the database.
Hi Pete, not sure if there's been a change to the templates, but I was certain there is a single side stripe option...

Arsenal's sock design is incorrect for the regular and alternate home socks - should be a single side stripe, rather than a single horizontal hoop which I am getting in game

Thanks @wesleymcuk and @llama3
@Brentford Alan is correct; we set the actual date injured in the database, and the rest is up to the game. We also set an estimated date of return to full training (if the player is yet to return irl), and sometime in April 2024 would seem reasonable for an injury such as Timber has sustained, wouldn't it?
The August 31st cut off doesn’t seem right. Surely that should be the first game of the season, or maybe better indeed first day of preseason. There are pitfalls to a player being injured all pre-season for other injuries too, prevents them building match sharpness, familiarity etc., so they start from the bottom, rather than potentially getting familiar then getting injured.
My squad can only have at best a comparable injury status, if the player selected instead is also injured long term that would be particularly unfair.

Jurrien Timber starting with an ACL injury is inaccurate - he sustained this in the middle of the first game. It's not like the game prevents any of my other defenders getting ACL injuries, so pre-setting his injury just means I can have at best the same injury problems, but possibly even worse.

Hello, could we get your save file showing this so we can examine, thank you.

Hi Zachary - I presume this hasn't been fixed - not seen any change to the issues I have been seeing

Hi Zachary - any new game with the file I’ve already attached will replicate it

One we're aware of. This should be fixed in a future update.
Hi Zachary - noticed that having tried this again, that whilst the Premier League hasn't disappeared, but it does not have any fixtures, none are loaded or included. I presume this has not yet been fixed?

Hi @llama3 - you make a valid point, but there is no perfect solution for the injury date cut-off point. Clubs that have, in real life, brought in players before the end of the transfer window because of long-term injuries that may have been suffered since season start, will start FM with those recent acquisitions.
Hi Pete,
That's fair that replacements for long term injuries are a factor too. I think personally that I'd say start of the season - rather than transfer window, but appreciate it's not straightforward.

As far as I'm aware any injuries that occurred before the end of the transfer window are included as clubs still have time to replace these players.
That's madness if true - the point stands, you have the same injuries at best, or a few more most likely. Plus your players are further behind thanks to no pre-season, less tactical familiarity. For those of us who play with no first transfer windows it's even madder.
Let's take Diego Carlos, starting with a major achilles injury - nothing stopping Tyrone Mings also picking one up in pre-season too.

I'm not sure Diego Carlos' injury should be in-game. He got injured after the start of the season (he played 2 x PL games for Aston Villa). Considering you can collect injuries in pre-season in-game too, not sure it's fair to start with ones actually suffered after the start of the game, but especially not the start of the season.

Thanks very much, @llama3 - I will amend the database accordingly. Unfortunately, the kit will not make it to the release version of FM2023.
That’s grand @Pete Sottrel - appreciate responsiveness as always

Thanks @llama3 - I haven't seen the grey 3rd GK kit; please will you link to images of it, or tell me in which match it has been used?
Hi Pete,
Used in home game vs Aston Villa and last night against Zurich at home.
Cheers

@Dan Ormsby- very minor one, but Arsenal's 2nd goalkeeper kit is more of a bright turquoise than a light green.
Also doesn't look like light grey change socks are included, or the grey 3rd goalkeeper kit (I haven't seen them in-game)

Have the same issue too - when holidaying through to see the impact it means your squad get picked at too - so had what are actually lowball offers for Saka, Tomiyasu etc. - it's actually got quite a significant impact.
