Oh my word why even show this. I think this could get abandoned, I wouldn't blame any player for not being able to carry on, from both sides.

What happened, did he get a hit? Or just drop?
He just went, no one was even near him. Really worrying.

I didn't see it and assumed there was some clash. Rewound and saw there was no one near him. That's not good at all. Can only hope he's ok.

I'd probably be playing Grealish and Sterling's form is a concern, but I can see some logic to it and it doesn't mean the whole Euros is a bust now. And if he plays crap and Grealish runs them ragged from the bench, then absolutely start him next game.

Surely most of us have all played in games like this, whether it's 5s or 11s. When the opposition is just all over you pressing wise and you can't get anything going creativity wise. It starts to drain you mentally as well.
Agree we need to see both teams again though.
My 5 a side teams have always just been **** tbf

Feels like Italy's whole plan was to just run them into the ground first half and exploit it second half. It's definitely worked. Turkey have looked dead on their feet for ages.

Got better as the game have gone on, absolutely cruised this. Still lacked any semblance of creativity first half but they look like they'll waltz into the next round, and probably quarters.

Fully deserved. Faultless performance this from Italy.
Wouldn't say faultless, but they've been the better team by about a million miles.

Some of Italy's passes in the final third have been so horrific

What on earth is Robbie Savage doing on his own in Baku?
To keep him away from this country, hopefully forever.

There's been some absolutely shocking penalty claims this half

Not a penalty but not an intelligent tackle at all.

Good old BBC
2 Minutes talking about Wales, 2 Minutes talking about Scotland then they rest of the show talking about England but being rudely interrupted by the actually game
Wales had a pretty long segment. Scotland were very much brushed over though yeah.

Really? All I've heard the past week is how Italy are 27 games unbeaten and it's them and France I'm hearing everyone mentioning to win it.
If anything Italy are getting overrated, they're being mentioned a lot more than Portugal or Belgium for example who both have better sides.
From what I've read France have been touted as the big favourites (rightly of course,) followed by Belgium and England. Genuinely hadn't heard anything about Italy until today.

Never actually watched Locatelli play despite him being ace for me on FM a few years ago so that'll be fun.

I think dark horse was the wrong term, but trying to play devil's advocate here, Italy haven't really been spoke about that much as potential winners.

Seeing others being excited is making me even more excited Even with everything about "game's gone" for a million and 1 reasons I still feel like a kid when tournaments come round. Hopefully that never dies.

You can't say they didn't deserve any of those titles and that they weren't the best team, but it's not like things couldn't have easily gone either way.
Penalties in 2008 QF.
Robben's sitter in 2010 final.
Blatant robbery against Croatia in 2012, should've been out in the group. Then penalties against Portugal.
Oh of course, but I'm sure most teams in history who've won stuff you could look at moments it could have gone wrong.

Arbeloa kinda sticks out there
Gosh, what a team. 6 of the best midfielders of their generation including two all time greats. Why wouldn't you stick them all in there
That period from 2008-2012 was ridiculous, just winning everything. A lot of people hated it, the passing people to death, but I loved it. And that final was just incredible.

Grealish, Foden, Kane, then the pace of Rashford/Sterling/Sancho after an hour could be lethal. Need to get that midfield right though.

There's no way this doesn't get abandoned, how any of them can be expected to play on after this is beyond me.
