ilovefm
Some players retire way too early at the age of 21 or so. Bit unrealistic :|
bollekewol
it's because they do not got enough interest from clubs... they retire instead of being clubless for years or even decades. They turn into new regens who'll start at clubs again.
Stevicus
Not at all, if they are unnatached to a club, or have a recurring injury, sometimes its best to hang up their boots. It happens IRL
fatboyjohnmulhern
I bet you more under 21's retire each year than over 30's...career change ater finally accepting that they are not good enough
arsenal_2111
They turn into new regens who'll start at clubs again. They don't, I don't think. That is the 2nd of three systems. 1. Players that retired came back as virtually the same player but with a different name 2. Players that retired came back as a different player 3. Players that retired have no impact on new regens I think...

phnompenhandy
Not turn into regens, but they are replaced by regens - close enough! As said, its very common for young players who cant get a club to drop out of football and earn their crust in a proper job.
