(VERY IMPORTANT) my save is damaged

A computer crash like that will almost certainly have corrupted the game files and the save will not be possible to repair.  You will need to go back to the last backup.

Like said, a file is irrecoverable if saving is interrupted due to crash, turn off or even  while going into sleeping mode. Always have the rolling backup save option on.

By default there is a backup, called last save overwrite backup.fm - does this load? Should be in your save game folder if you click 'Load Game' (rather than Load Last Game') via the main menu.
