This is absolutely shocking. Gornik has been represented by no less then 9! players. With one of our players winning the competition. Also 4 of them arrived in this winter transfer window. The future is looking sweet.

Also no polish players have been represented.

S15 - April 2026

The league is going down to the wire. 4 games left and both, us and Rakow have got same amount of points. Warta is also only 8 points behind, but Rakow is still yet to play Warta. 

We managed to beat Rakow in the Semi Final of the cup as well and we will be playing against 2nd tier Korona in the final.

League

We have lost it at the last run in by 1 point. Tough but still what a fight right to the last game of the season. Overall I think we have improved since last year.

Unbelievable run, without conceiding a goal we won our 2nd cup at Gornik !

This has been a really good run where we managed to get out of groups and beat Man City at home. Definitely something to build on for next season.

Thanks a lot for the feedback !  Glad you are enjoying it. 

I use in-game editor to get this value.  as some other values, like the reputation numbers instead of stars. 

 

As for the national team, they are mostly regens now, but some of them look very decent.

We are closing gap on the top 2 in the league in terms of odds.  Hopefully we can put up a fight against Warta and Rakow again. 

In the other end, Pogon Podbeskidzie and Ruch return to top flight.

My Expectations

League -  Make sure we have europe next year, UCL preferably. 

Cup - Not too important, I will be rotating and we will see how far we can get

 Super Cup - Won already.

Europe - We have been drawn against Real Madrid in 3rd quali round, which is crap, if we can get past them I think Cl groups will be guaranteed, if not it is EL again and there I will want to reach latter stages.

S16 - July & August 2036

A perfect start to the league, we are second due to worse goal difference than Rakow, but other than that it is starting really well. 

With great home result against Real Madrid where we absolutely dominated them, we managed to reach Playoffs and by beating Galata on aggregate qualify for group stages. 

The group stage is tough. We Inter and Liverpool will be tough to beat, and Augsburg are last seasons Europa League winners. I am hoping for 3rd but we will see what happens in due course.

For the first time this save we have 4 teams in Group Stages of European competitions. 

Rakow 

I think Rakow has got everything to qualify to KOs from here, my eyes are turned to Tondella who won Portuguese league last season. 

Warta Poznan 

Warta has been drawn straight to group stages of EL. The group is really tough, but I am hoping for 3rd.

Great result at home against Vaduz and we have 4th team in group stages. PSG game will definitely be tough LOL . PSG have finished 4th in the league last season. 

Wisla Krakow 

Wisla wasted the opportunity to go through to 4th round against Brann at home, by losing on pens.

There was quite a lot of things happening in the transfer window, we sold players for the total of 70M which is amazing, and spent only around 12M out of it.

Confident win against Andorra(189th) and then a real rollercoaster against Luxembourg(129th), we were 3-1 down at some point and managed to turn this around.  We are top of the group with 6 points only leading by goal difference against North Macedonia.

Great month, We are keeping the pace with Rakow and are only losing out on goal difference. 

We managed to beat Liverpool at home and we looked like a better team throughout the game. 

A highlight of this month was spanking 10-0 a 4th tier Lechia Zielona Gora in the Cup and Boris Kucera scroing 6 goals in that game. Both, the win and the 6 goals by 1 player were cup records. On another note, our reserves also advanced to second round of the cup.

In both games we have had to come from behind to win what is a bit annoying, North Macedonia(104th) it was very even game, but we dominated Luxembourg(129th)  We are on course to qualify to group B

Yet another great month, In the league we have only drawn against Rakow, who has also slipped earlier and we are now sole leader in the league. What is also worth noting is KGHM Zaglebie, they are keeping up the pace with us and we didn't interfere with them. Although they have 2 of our loanies in their team. 

In CL we have narrowly won against Augsburg and managed to hold the draw against Inter away, what makes us 3 points on top in the group. 

Also Boris Kucera another hat trick in the cup.

Despite our draw against Odra Opole, things are still looking really well. We smash both Inter and Augsburg in CL to qualify to KO rounds from 1st place.

Good month in the league, Our unbeaten run still continues. We have bottled increasing the gap against Rakow with our game in hand, and beacue they dropped some points we are still on the top. 

In CL we drawn against Liverpool and qualifying to KOs from first place.

Wow! I have to say I am really impressed with how much you've improved the Ekstraklasa so far. Also good to see that Warta and Rakow have kept performing in Europe after you left. Hopefully you can also give the national team a boost now.

Thanks a lot!  We seem to be stuck on 8th place in coefficients so far for quite a few seasons, with around 9-11 points per season.  I think what is really hampering us from moving forward is that 4th and 5th team to qualify to group stages and actually scoring some coefficient points.  

I am also happy to see Warta and Rakow doing well, they kept their reputation statuses after I left, Warta still being a 'Continental' 4 star club and Rakow being 'Worldwide' 4.5 star club. 
Rakow is actually really strong, We are struggling to overhaul them atm, Maybe this is the season. 
I still have few seasons left with Gornik, and I started to do a wonderkid loanfarm within the league, but it feels like we will need at least another club at the same level to move forward. 

National team is different story, our DYR didn't really move at all, so not sure how we can produce better players, However I did notice that majority of most talented youths atm are either at Warta or at Rakow, so all the facilities must account for something at least   Giving all that I don't think we will win any trophy with national team.

Our great league run has ended with a loss away to Cracovia, I must however say that we have been decimated by injuries and fatigue. On the other hand we have managed to win against Roma away, what puts us in great situtation towards home leg.

 

 

Winter Transfer Window

There has been quite a lot of movement in the transfer window. We have signed a LOT of potential wonderkids but I will not be showing them all today.

This Intake is actually really really good in my eyes, We have at least 3 players with a PA of 120+ and good personalities, Also we have one which has a CA of 95 and despite having low PA he looks really good for a 15 yo.

WC Qualifying - March 2037

So we did not only smash Israel(83rd) by 6! We also managed to win against France(1st). To be fair this was first test against a team from top10 in the world, and looks like on a good day we can win, but maybe they have underestimated us.

Gornik has been represented by no less then 7players this year, AND we also have 2 players in top 3 which is absolutely great ! Guler winning at only 17, he has lots of time to win it again.

Great month across the board ! we win all games in the league and we are still 2 points ahead on top, suprisingly Rakow are third now with KGHM Zaglebie are second?? We didn't even touch this team! 
We are through in both cups, Polish cup and CL by passing through Roma. 

 

In Champions League we will be playing against Monaco in QF, but historic moment for Polish football where we will have 2! teams in QF as Rakow past Liepzig! They will play against Bayer next.

Really good month despite a loss to Rakow, Looks like it is a 3 horse race for the title, with Zaglebie who we haven't touched this year. We have been hampered with faigue and injuries this month due to fixture congestion but all in all we managed to qualify to Semi final of CL and the Final of the cup !

League

This was quite tough season in the league. We had 3 teams this season who were challenging for the title, and until 33rd leg it was still unknown who is going to win. I am happy to have overhauled Rakow, but also what a job by Zaglebie to keep up the pace !

This is unbelieveable. We went from qualifying through groups and o the final. We managed to sneak through both Monaco and Barcelona, I wasn't expecting to win this so quickly, but looks like we might be capable.

Our Reputation has grown to 4.5 stars. this might make our players more settled. Finance wise we have broken the bank this season. raking up 80M in comp monies..

We seem to be stuck a bit in coeff position 8 for quite a while, we still have a bit of a gap above us to Netherlands who are 7th at the moment.

I have decided that it is a time to change. One of the major factors was that we have achieved quite a lot with Gornik, secondly the board have been PITA.. and I have decided to turn the save updates down a bit with next teams will have less frequent updates then every month. So here is what we have achieved at Gornik.

WC 2038 Qualifying

Despite our loss to Ireland and France, we managed to qualify to 2038 WC in a second best team table

I may have found a sleeping giant! 

I present you..

A club with a great potential, having their major success around 2000's where they managed to win the league for the second time since 1946. Since then they have been in decline, with poor owners and mis management and we have now found them in 4th tier of polish football. They are Legia's most fierce rivals, so lets make them prime force in Warsaw and steal all their youth prospects

Ugh. Polonia are one of our main promotion rivals in the women's league this season (apart from the obvious local rivalry of course), so I've developed some rather negative feelings towards them. Good luck, I guess.

I prefer Polonia out of the 2  I guess probably because Lech had fan agreement with them ages ago  Unfortunately my plan is to overhaul Legia in every aspect in the game to become prime force in Warszawa. I understand that fan and staduim wise it will be quite difficult, but maybe like I said before, they are a sleeping giant?

Yes I know, However surprisingly the clubs that i left are doing pretty well without me and are even able to keep their continental or worldwide status. Also this season all 5 teams have reached group stages which is the first time this happened in this save.

I think going up from 8th place that we are now would be very difficult with only 3 teams, I also didn't have much success with loan farm at Gornik, because I think I have taken wrong approach. Will see if we can do that in Polonia.  The reason I picked Polonia is because I think that we have 3 teams now that should be going past group stages in various comps so if we can build another one, hopefully this will give us a bit of the edge above. As long as coeff doesn't drop below 10th place, I will be happy

Finances are a bit of a problem at the moment. The club has been struggling going further in debt in the last 4 years. Wages are still under, so we don't have to make the cuts straight awayu 

 

There is also 1M debt, so overall we are 2M negative. Being in 4th tier doesn't help.

First game in management is approching, so thought I can give you overview as where we are at the moment. We currently sit 9th, and with 15 games left we are 22 points below the promotion place, so that seems really out of reach, we would need Stomil to really stop gaining points. 

We have aquired few loans during the transfer window as our debt still stand at about 2M.
