Converting AML into ML

I have just had a player promoted into my Under-18s who is supposed to be the best of his generation

He plays AML but I can't fit him into ML to try him in a first team formation

Any ideas how I can convert his position?

I was hoping these was a way of doing it without cheating!

Is it possible to change a players position?

And if you can't do it through training is there a saved game editor or something

Bring up the players profile, click the training option on the left. it should brin up a list of things to do with his training. you can get him to learn a new position through this.

should be, not a major difference, just a bit more defensive duties involved

I find ML adapt better to AML role than vice-versa. But yeah, it's not too much of a difference so wouldn't be a problem.

i told my Cronaldo to learn the MR position he took 1 year and still haven learnt it any suggestions??:confused:

I think it depends on his adaptability. Try hiring some better coaches, make sure you have 7 stars in his key training. Also does anybody know if now that players seem to be able to become natural in positions a bit more often if when you stop training them in a new position they regress?
