And with our relegation, our 3 best players whose contracts run out next month all want to leave, grim times are ahead. We're still rubbish and our defence isn't going to get any better, so we're in for a rough ride, even in the 5th tier. The problem with youth intakes is that, unless you're playing with a very unorthodox formation, you need at least 2 centre-backs. Still the probability of CBs coming through the intake is the same as other positions. I'm not even mentioning that makes you play the rubbish CBs you should've dropped because there aren't enough CBs from the intakes in first place. Furkan hadn't played this season and with him being on £160 p/w it was good to see the back of him as he moves on to a semi-pro Austrian side.
