True, it wasn't a common occurrence, but you'd often see it on European nights and it would really add something to the spectacle. I'm just playing a Europa League quarter final, second leg, away to Olympiakos and the stadium atmosphere is all sterile and nice. It's crying out for a bit of pyro! I'd imagine it was removed as it's not something we should be actively encouraging - but I'd love to see stuff like this back in the game, maybe some tifos as well.
