Oh good god yes. I normally insta-result and watch the goals/CCCs (I'm lazy, it's got me back into FM). But I managed this one. We still lost, and I spent the longest 2 mins praying Hobro didn't score a couple.
Moonshine
HB Koge - 2026/27 Superliga Season Summary Final Position: 10th [of 12] The Squad: Staying up has, I think, kept us afloat. Jack Ritchie performed amazingly following his move up top, and is the definition of a late bloomer (he's been a 5* prospect since he was with me at Middelfart). My other Middelfart signings went less well - I released Mikkel Bang at the end of last season, and Nikolaj Boesen has fallen to third in the pecking order and finds himself transfer listed, alongside Ngombo and new backup GK Madsen. Ingerslev is being released, alongside Halse, after 165 games for the club. We've got a frankly ridiculous £57k p/w wage budget for next season - fully £20k more than we're spending at the moment - and I intend to use some, or all, of it. Already lined up are a new backup GK (18 and excellent) and an ST to slot into first choice, pushing Labyad and Ingason down the pecking order. I'm also hopeful some youth products in Daniel Christensen (YP5b), Simon Mogenson (YP5a) and Sten Jensen (YP7b) might play some part next season. I like youth products, and after 8 seasons it will be nice to have some that came through on my watch in and around the team. The Awards: Jack Ritchie: Best XI: All Time XI Casper Hauervig Soren Overgaard Marian Huja Tony Miettinen Bardhec Bytyqi Gustav Johansen Trygve Solberg Aarstad Magnus Hauser Kristall Mani Ingason Zinedine Labyad Jack Ritchie

Moonshine
HB Koge - 2027/28 Danish Superliga Board: Battle Bravely against Relegation Cup: Fourth Round Media: 12th (/12) Odds: 1000-1 Friendlies: Does anyone care? Transfers: Out went Nicolas Halse, Per Ingerslev and Louis Sterobo, released after their contracts ended. In came three new wingers, in Marcus Lindstrom for £30k from Hammarby at ML, Angolan Milson on both sides, but particularly MR, and Walter Acquaviva, a sexy looking MR. Kenneth Ravn came in as backup, and hopefully eventual relacement, for Casper Hauervig in goal. He's 18, and already pretty good. Up front, we got ourselves a new option for the advanced forward role alongside Jack Ritchie as a False Nine, in the shape of young ST Michael Christensen from FC Kobenhavn. Finally, I wanted another DR as I'm not sure Soren Odegaard is the right fit there. In on loan from Derby came a versatile Croat, and probably the best player at the club, Branko Obrenovic. Moonshine
HB Koge - 2027/28 Superliga July Fixtures: Randers and Lyngby are my challenge for the year, followed closely by OB, Vejle and SoderbyskE. Moonshine
HB Koge - 2027/28 Superliga August Fixtures: This isn't quite as good... The 5-0 home loss to Lyngby in particular stings terribly. God knows what happened, but we didn't turn up. Beating Vejle helped the month end OK, but we need to improve - particularly as we have yet to play any of the 'big three' of Kobenhavn, Nordsjaelland and Midtjylland Table: All of Lyngby's goals to date came in that match against me... Doubleplus ungood. Edited April 28, 2020 by Moonshine
Moonshine
HB Koge - 2027/28 Superliga September Fixtures: Two cup wins, zero league wins. Figures, given the opposition. We weren't embarrassing, but we're looking peaky. As usual I've given up on the cup, playing a firm second sting against lower league sides. I might kick it up a notch if I win in the next round. Moonshine
HB Koge - 2027/28 Superliga October Fixtures: A game that we won? Madness. The 4-4-2 wasn't working, so I went back to the 4-5-1 to gave a little defensive solidarity and it seemed to work. I need to work out when and where to play which formation. The penalty loss against Viborg was annoying, but its the cup and it doesn't matter. Staying up is the aim, end of. Table: All to play for at the bottom of the table. While the top four run away with it, there's only 6 points between us in 10th and AGF in 4th. Anyone can beat anyone (and most of them beat me). Time to grind some results out. Moonshine
HB Koge - 2027/28 Superliga November Fixtures: The aim was to become difficult to beat, so I suppose I've done that, at the cost of some fluidity. More tweaks I think. Table: We're competitive at the bottom still. All to play for, and I'm desperate not to repeat my post-winter-break slump. I'll be happy with another 10th. Moonshine
HB Koge - 2027/28 Superliga Early March Fixtures: The win away at Midjylland was a surprise, but lovely for it. AGF was back to usual. But 3 points from the first four games after the winter break was good. Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland An Overview: The History: So, I find myself at the helm of the current Superliga Champions, and the team currently sitting pretty at the top of the league. Madness. They won the league in 2012 and 2027, and the cup in 2020 and 2024, and outside of a blip in 2024/5 when they finished 7th, the team has consistently finished in the top 3 with FC Kobenhavn and FC Midjtylland. They sold their best player in January, 19 y/o wonderkid Kim Brondum, to Real Betis for nearly £10m - their highest ever fee received. The are fierce competitive rivals to Lyngby and FC Kobehavn, and hold other rivalries with Brondby, AB and Birkerod. The Facilities: Are frankly ridiculous. A good job, as the club are renowned for producing excellent talent. As well as Kim Brondum at Betis, recent years have seen Nordsjaelland players leave for the likes of AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, PSG and Borussia Dortmund. We have a couple of ridiculously good prospects in the youth teams and senior squad. The Expectations: That's a lot. Basically, play sexy football, using youth players and sell on to keep the club in the black. Cool, I can do that. Maybe. The Situation: Four points clear at the top of the league, in the semi finals of the cup, but sadly out of Europe in the Champions League groups stages (which made me a ****-ton of money, and means that there's £11m in the bank) The Squad: It's ever-so sexy. The loanees are mad good. Archie Moore-Taylor is from Arsenal, Luk Sucic from Derby, David Dulce from Alaves and Jerome Seube from Wolves. Valdemar Norgaard is like a shitter, Danish, Ronaldinho: And Rafik Jaziri could be truly brilliant:
Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland - 2027/28 Superliga April Fixtures: Nice. Tight. It's fun being a good team. Oh, and I seem to be in a motherf***ing cup final!!! Table: Top by 6 points, having been top by 4 when we took over. Decent. Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland - 2027/28 Superliga May Fixtures: You know what? we were undefeated in the league. Sod it, I'll take it. You know why? WE BLOODY WON THE THING. The draw with Brondby was enough, and we rotated in the games against Midtjylland and Kobenhavn. Rafik Jaziri got three goals in his three starts for the club to date. He's going to be savage. Bittersweet, mind. Bittersweet. Table: At the start of the season, I was worrying about another season trying desperately to stay up. I finish at a new club, with new ambitions, and a Superliga title to my name! Cup Final: We huffed and we puffed but we couldn't blow the door down. Sad. Edited April 28, 2020 by Moonshine
Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland - 2027/28 Superliga Season Summary Final Position: 1st! [of 12] The Squad: Looking at the 'frankly ridiculous' £57k p/w wage budget I had with HB Koge is laughable now. This squad is very good, but needs a few tweaks to get it up to snuff for the foreseeable. The most obvious is replacing our four loanees, all of whom were brilliant this season - three as starters, and one as backup. That means a new AMR, a new DC and a new MC. We'll be letting Tommy Gamst go as backup GK, with the aim of bringing in someone who can fully replace Peter Vindahl withing 2-3 years. Elsewhere, Matthias Rasmussen has asked to leave, and we have granted this by transfer listing him. We've already signed an ML and a DL for next season, and identified an ST who looks insane which is an opportunity I just can't pass up. The Awards: Eric Amissah (Yth): Club Records: Team of the Season: Best XI: All Time XI Peter Vindahl Mads Dohr Tychosen Jermoe Seube Maxwell Woledzi Mads Kruse (Yth) Nicolaj Larsen Luka Sucic Kim Brondum (YthN) Eric Amissah (Yth) Ahmed Daghim Valdemar Norgaard

Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland Danish Superliga Board: Top two Cup: Reach the final Champions League: Be Competitive Media: 1st (/12) Odds: 5-2 Friendlies: Friendly friendly friendlies. Very friendly. Transfers: I... went mad. A bunch of signing, both for now and for the future. For now, I signed Mhlengi Hlela at AML, who looks a bit good. FC Kobenhavn had him for a season, before selling him to Club Brugge for £2m. £1.4m from me, then, is cheap as chips. Also in for the present is Sylvain Henry at DL. A proper attacking full back, with a lack of dribbling ability. Again, 20, so resale value methinks. Fleming Olsen is my future in goal, and, I hope, Denmark's too. He will backup Peter Varndahl for the next couple of seasons. Jerome Seube returned on loan for the season, as did wonderkid Archie Moore-Taylor. Then came a big signing in Jacob Petersen (Yth) came in on a free from AC Milan. We apparently sold him for £3.7m as an 17 y/o, after making 3 appearances for us. He'd made 29 Serie A appearances, but is a seriously good player and a physical beast – and is only going to get better. And one of our own. And then, finally, I went mad and smashed the transfer record buying the Superliga's player of the season last season. Not that I needed a striker, but look at the wonder that is Samuel Yusuf. He's beautiful, and 19, and scored 18 goals in 25 games last season on loan at lower-half SonderskyE. For the future, we went wide - most of these are on the edge of the first team, with luck. In came Fleming Busk, a ridiculously good 16 y/o striker, and the most exciting of the prospects. Also in, in order of excitement, Daniel Fraser, Paul Holt, Helgi Einarson, Isaac Dimy, Toralvur Kaerbech and what appears to be a poor signing in Arkadiusz Radzewicz. Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland - 2028/29 Superliga November Fixtures: We thrashed Brondby, which was really rather lovely, and had a perfect month in the league in general - without conceding a goal. In Europe, a point at Benfica was impressive, though a loss to Real Madrid unsurprising. Table: We're building up a good buffer in the league now. Europe: All to play for with one game left. Meanwhile, with all to play for in Europe, a victory against Genk was absolutely necessary - and we proceeded to thrash them. Moonshine
I've never seen this before. I'm not actually complaining, I like Mads Kruse. But equally I though £20m was quite fair and I wanted the cash. Kruse has dropped behind Sylvain Henry as first choice left back, though he is good for HG players in Europe. He's wanted by 12 clubs, so let's see what we can get for him down the line perhaps.

Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland - 2028/29 Winter Transfers Nothing as exciting as selling Mads Kruse (Yth) for more than £20m, unfortunately. Some youngsters out on loan or small transfers, and my B team manager signed Esben Pedersen, a Danish DL/ML/AML who oddly came through at Cercle Brugge, for £100k rising to £240k. He looks pretty decent, so at the very least we might make a profit on him... Edited April 30, 2020 by Moonshine
Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland - 2028/29 Superliga February Fixtures: I got thoroughly FMed in Europe. The wins against AGF were the only positive of what was probably my worst month in charge of Norsjaelland. Samuel Yusuf, my record signing, has forgotten how to score again, too. Moonshine
FC Nordsjaelland - 2028/29 Superliga March Fixtures: God knows why we only have two league games in March, when we have eleven games in April and May (and the cup semi final, and, potentially, the final). But thems the breaks. A solid two games, meaning we're now 17 unbeaten and happily top by some margin. Table: At this rate we'll end the season on 80 points, which would be a record for the 12 team league (FC Midtjylland got 85 points with a 14 team league in 2018)
