Arranging Friendly Matches

I’ve scheduled my pre-season friendlies myself, yet the backroom staff keeps scheduling new ones which I then have to cancel if I don’t want to play four matches a week.  On the Responsibilities screen I can give the backroom staff the power to manage these matches, but not control whether they schedule them.  How can I prevent new friendly matches from being scheduled?

You can't, sadly. It's really annoying and it's worse if he schedules them during a training camp as you can't cancel them.

Hopefully they can add an option to prevent the assistant manager from scheduling matches in the future.

Also happened to me. My assistant set a 2-3 games each time and I need to cancel them

Its happened 4-5 times in a pre season

Does anybody know how to get reserve matches set up by itself? I have to always do this myself.

I just came here to look for a solution as well. Really annoying to have to cancel them again and again every season and even more so during training camps where you cannot cancel them at all apparently.

Does anyone know why this exists? I certainly do not want to play two games/week the entire preseason ending in some three-week games, including Lazio-Arsenal-Leverkusen in 6 days during the last week...
