Basically, there needs to be enough interest in the sport at large (i.e. several top leagues having Championship-level attendances) to convince SI that it's worth investing time and resources to implement women's football within FM. Yea that is the issue right now. Hopefully, there is enough investment now for FM to start investing time and resources into women's football.
