RPM13
Champions League What a match! When we went down, I feared the worst. Then when they scored again I was so demotivated it was unbelievable. Then, our luck changed. Fran Tudor's goal was actually a clearance from the opposition defender that bounced off Tudor and into the back of their net. Then, super-sub Ruiz Diaz won a penalty and got a brace! What a hero! After this leg, all I hope is that the second leg is a relatively dull affair (or that we absolutely destroy them).
RPM13
Champions League Fran Tudor and Fernando Ruiz Diaz have almost single double-handedly carried us through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Between the two of them, they scored 5 of our 6 goals and assisted 2 as well. With this win came the two best messages possibly of the entire save with one being particularly great. RPM13
Champions League Draw Ouch. Going into the fourth pot teams, there were two groups that I really wanted to avoid, group B and group H. Fortunately we didn't get group H, but our group isn't much better with Monaco, Atletico, and Leverkusen. I really do feel bad for Galatasaray though. RPM13
Champions League I can't help but be slightly disappointed, but to keep it this close against a very good team like Monaco was very good. They probably did deserve to win by more, though.
RPM13
Champions League After losing our first 3 group matches (I forgot to take screenshots of the other two), I wasn't expecting much, but this was a truly excellent performance. We may have had less shots, but we created much better chances than they did so we really were deserving of the win. This leaves the group looking like this: I'll be the first to admit, it's not looking great, but if we can win the home match against Leverkusen we'll have a chance to get third in the group depending on the result of the next match. RPM13
Champions League It was disappointing to lose, but a result was never really expected so I wasn't too disheartened. It does, however leave the group like this: We are now officially eliminated from European competition for this year. Hopefully this will improve our coefficient, though and we will continue to improve.
RPM13
Champions League I think this will improve our coefficient quite nicely (at least a bit). It's too little too late to improve our standing in the group, but the prize money and improved coefficients will definitely help.
RPM13
Mid-Season Break League As you can see, there is a lot of green. We've also managed to win against all of the lesser teams (unless you consider Lokomotiva as a lesser team). We've been decent defensively, only allowing more than one goal on 3 occasions so far. Unfortunately, it hasn't really been good enough as Rijeka are giving us a run for our money and could go ahead of us if they win their game in hand. We really have to win next time we face them in the league. It's also nice to see youngsters Ruiz Diaz and Sego amongst the top scorers and best performers in the league. Europe I feel like this is fairly well documented above, but basically, we made it to the group stages of the Champions League where we drew a really tough group and did fairly well to get 6 points (but still finished bottom). Cup We've been solid so far, but we haven't been drawn against a big club yet. Dinamo are already out, but potential league leaders Rijeka are still in after beating Dinamo in the last round. Squad So far, our best performer has actually been Hamza Barry with an average rating of 7.54. Top scorer is Ruiz Diaz with 16 goals in 16 starts and 10 substitute appearances. Top assister is Fran Tudor with 12 assists in 17 starts and 6 sub appearances.

RPM13
I believe this is the largest bid I have ever had on FM. I'm still not going to accept it, he's now a wonderkid after all.
RPM13
New Signings This is the new group of promising players who are coming into the squad. The first three looked better when we got the transfers arranged and now only have 3-4 star potential, but the others look better. Here they are: He looks like the best of the group. At only 16 he already looks quality. He looks good, but we have better players at the club. He should be a decent attacking midfielder in a few years. Another promising goalkeeper to add to the collection. We now have 5 who look really good for the future.

RPM13
February 2020 This was a good month (plus one day) for us. We even beat Rijeka in what was an absolute classic. We did have a blip against Dinamo, but I think the Rijeka game was more important to win. This leaves us top of the league, but it's very tight with Dinamo having won all 6 of their games during the month. It really is a four horse race at the top of the lead with those 4 teams a full 19 points clear of everyone else.
RPM13
Youth Intake Initially, I was disappointed when I saw this intake, but now that I think about it, to get 3 players with at least 4 star potential (potentially) as a team who made the Champions League group stages is actually quite good. Here are the three best players: Unfortunately he plays as an inside forward on the wrong side. I play a winger on the right and an inside forward on the left. I will get him to train his right foot and train him in either one of these roles. Another keeper, yay. He does look decent, though and bumps the number of promising goalkeepers at the club up to 6. This time we get a winger who plays on the right side of the field (and by that I mean the correct side of the field). He has some good looking physicals and although he is not as promising as Stimac, he could have a future at the club.
RPM13
March 2020 A very good month overall with the highlight of course being the away win against Rijeka. We're now into the final of the Croatian Cup where we'll face Rijeka. The win against Rijeka takes us 8 points above them, but they're the least of our worries now as Dinamo are on quite a run and are now only 1 point behind us. This could be an interesting end to the season.
RPM13
April 2020 Another solid month. Our 5-2 win against Sibenik looks very comfortable, but 3 of those goals came in the last 5 minutes and I was very concerned we would drop points or even lose the match. We're still only one point ahead od Dinamo, but we continue to pull away from the rest of the league. With only 4 matches remaining, I can safely say that one of us will win the title. We also had this happen at the end of the month: The board needed a bit of encouragement, but they were finally willing to buy the stadium. We currently have $28 million in the bank and I'm expecting to get over $10 million more after the Champions League ends, so money should not be an issue. RPM13
May 2020 and Season Review A good end to the season including a win on penalties to lift the Croatian Cup for the third consecutive year, but only after they scored a penalty in the last minute of injury time. The league table at the end of the season looked like this: We really pulled away from Rijeka in the end, but Dinamo gave us a good challenge right to the end. We had some decent performances throughout the squad this season as you can see from the screenshot below: Only one player averaged under a 7 rating which is excellent overall. Surprisingly, Caktas had our highest average rating (I'm not counting Avram as he only played cup matches). Ruiz Diaz and Mrkic both got in the double digits for goals and assists with Ruiz Diaz also finishing as our top scorer and the league top scorer. Fran Tudor, as usual was the top assister for both the club and the league, but he didn't score as many as previous seasons. He did still win fan's player of the season, though. Adrian Ene was our signing of the season largely due to the playing time he got. Only weeks after we signed him, RB Leipzig came in for current starter Letica and we were left with no clear starting goalkeepers, so Ene wound up being the starter at 16 years old. Not bad. RPM13
This blows our previous transfer second out of the water. The board accepted it and I'm not going to protest it because I had basically decided that if a bigger club came in for him that I would let him go. RPM13
July 2020 It was a disappointing opening match for us, but we followed that up with an outstanding performance against Inter (not Milan) where we were already 2-0 up after 4 minutes. This leaves the league looking like this after the 2 matches: Not much to say really. It's too early to really matter.
RPM13
The last two matches, I've been using a striker less system and performing incredibly well (this includes the 6-0 win in the last update). Inter are making it much easier to complete the transition to strikerless.
RPM13
Champions League Playoff Draw This will definitely not be an easy one, but with how we've played as of late, I think we can take them.

RPM13
Champions League After 17 minutes, I had high hopes that our great start would continue and we would actually win on aggregate, but at that point they set up shop and we didn't get any other great chances. Unfortunately we drop to the Europa League group stage for this season.
RPM13
Europa League Draw That's a fairly Nice draw (see what I did there ). In all honesty, I think we can get through this group behind Tottenham. Hopefully this prediction goes better than the last.
RPM13
August 2020 The month started off really well, then the train sort of fell off the tracks with us conceding 7 and only scoring 2 in 3 matches. A long way off the 13 scored and 0 conceded from the previous 3 matches. We did return from that with a 2-0 win (that didn't matter) over Celtic, and a very, very late win over Rijeka. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come as we come up against Dinamo in the first match of next month. We're in second, but already 7 points behind Dinamo who haven't conceded a goal yet! We're in for a rough year I think.
RPM13
Transfer Window This was a bit of a crazy one with both out incoming and outgoing transfer records being broken. We sold a youth product, Sego for a potential fee of over $30 million, and three players, Macek, Jukic and Ruiz Diaz who were signed for a combined fee of just over $500k for deals worth a potential of 12.5 million plus a percentage of each of their next transfers. Not a bad profit. In terms of incoming signings, we have a bit of quality there too. He comes in and is currently in the second team, but he could easily be in the first team. He's got a bright future. What a bargain this kid is. He's already one of our best defenders at only 17 and he cost us under $10k. This was a great find. Another player who's in the first team at only 17 and he looks very goos, but I'll be looking to make him a more complete footballer as he still looks very raw. Here he is, the record signing. Are you a bit underwhelmed, because I am. He's not bad, don't get me wrong, but he's not as good as Sego. We'll see how it works out though.
RPM13
September 2020 First of all, who scheduled this? We played all of our games away from home this month including a trip to England. What the heck! We didn't do too badly although we did lose to in-form Dinamo and Tottenham. Dinamo still haven't conceded and have pulled 10 points clear of us already. We really have to close the gap soon or we definitely won't be winning the league for the fourth straight season.
RPM13
October 2020 What a month! We're out of the cup early which is a massive disappointment, but it will allow us to focus on more important things like catching Dinamo in the league (who have conceded finally), and going as far as possible in the Europa League. I forgot to take a screenshot of the league table after this month, but I believe we cut Dinamo's lead to 6 points. This is looking very good. I think we might be in with a realistic chance of qualifying from the group.
RPM13
November 2020 Another excellent month with only one goal conceded in 5 matches. We also really liked scoring late goals with 5 goals scored in stoppage time in our first 4 games of the month including 2 to win against Tottenham in what was truly an amazing game. As good as we have been, Dinamo have been just as good if not better. They're still unbeaten and are 6 points ahead of us. It's safe to say that it's a two horse race with us a massive 14 points clear of third place Osijek. Our European run is also going to continue with the group looking like this after 5 matches: Our last match is against Ferencvaros so I'm hoping we will win the group. Only Tottenham can go ahead of us as we hold the head to head against Nice.
RPM13
December 2020 Another excellent month sees us go into the break on a 10 game winning streak which could still go on for some time. Dinamo finally lost a game! We're now within 3 points of them and with the form we're in currently the gap could be closed entirely within the next month after the break. The win against Ferencvaros also meant we won our group in the Europa League. In the end, it looked quite comfortable with Nice and Tottenham drawing the final match between them. RPM13
2020 Award Winners I'm very impressed that he actually beat Pulisic to this award. Too bad we don't play with strikers anymore. He has definitely benefited from our lack of strikers. As has Hamza Barry, winning African midfielder of the year.
RPM13
2021 Winter Signings We made quite a few signings so I'll only show you those that are in the first team immediately, but I'll take you through the others first. Anas Achahbar is a promising attacking midfielder, but he's currently a long way off the first team. Gavin Chiarot is a right back who's transfer we had arranged a few years ago when he was looking much more promising than he is now. He's been sent out on loan. Lucas Lourenco is another attacking midfielder who is very close to the first team and at only 20 years old, I think he will be in the near future. For only $240K, he looks like an absolute bargain, I believe that was his release clause so there aren't even any add-ons. We desperately needed a good left back after Jukic left in the summer and Pilipovic very much fits the bill and for only $150K, he's coming in for far less than we sold Jukic for. I think for a free signing he looks very good. He also scored in his debut for us so he is doing quite well so far. As part of bringing him in, we had to improve in the goalkeeping department which led me to the signing of this guy: Easily my best signing ever in any FM. I have no idea how we managed to bring him in on a free, but wow. He has a $12.25 million release clause and I think he'll leave for that, but that's an insane profit considering we got him for NOTHING!

Yeah when he came through in a scout report I was quite excited, especially when I saw we could bring him in for free, but when I went to offer him a contract he said that he wanted to keep his options open until close to the end of his contract. I figured he would get interest from the big clubs, but when he actually became interested in talking to us, he still had no other clubs interested in him. RPM13
February 2021 We started the new year like we ended the last, but once our winning streak ended at 12, we absolutely fell apart and haven't managed a win since. This also sees our European run end which is frustrating as we had 7 clear cut chances in the second leg, but our finishing was very poor. This poor run also sees us drop to 7 points behind Dinamo as they once again won all their matches this month. I don't think the title is coming to Split this year. We do, however have a double-header against Dinamo coming us at the start of March so a few good results could make the title race close.
RPM13
Youth Intake Well, I think the less that's said about this, the better. You could say that there's potential in there, but we have 21 players with better potential than the best ones in this youth intake in just the second team and the u21s.
RPM13
March 2021 Wow. What a difference a month makes. We went from no wins in 4, to 4 straight wins including 2 against the league leaders and one against the team who were in third place. This has definitely helped us in the title race. We now sit only one point behind Dinamo following the two wins against them. One win in our last 8 will secure Champions League football for next season, but we really want to beat Dinamo to the title once again.
RPM13
April 2021 The month started off well with us continuing our winning run, we even equaled Dinamo's points total after the Lokomotiva game, but the loss against Slaven Belupo really hurt and it ended our 23 game unbeaten run in the league. We're now 6 points back of Dinamo. We do have a game in hand, but even at that we only have 4 matches remaining. Dinamo has to drop at least 3 points in their last 3, luckily, one of those is against us so that will be an absolute must win game.
