eriktous
I am playing in France for the first time and just noticed my U19s had 8 points out of two games. Mystified, I looked at the rules page and saw the following. Why do they use such a funky system? It's basically the same as the more regular points system (3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss), but they start all teams on 26 points.
J Hamilton
They have got this for the whole amateur pyramid in France, inlcuding u19. It's basically a point for just showing up.
Spurs08
I believe it's so that in real life, amatuer teams failing to fulfill fixtures are automatically punished as they get 0 points rather than the 1 for a loss. Obviously that doesn't happen in FM though.
