ComposedFinisher
Im managing fenerbahce atm and financially we arent great (...insecure), there are about 7 players with contracts running out and 3 of them are first team players (i arrived in this mess), i was wandering if you release a player; can you use his funds in a bid to have more budget to offer someone else (first team player) a contract? Welshace
If you release a player, his wages are then obviously off your books and will there to allocate to either wages or transfer budget under normal circumstances... of course your board may have restricted this ability for some reason... take a look if the slider is there in the finance screens. jc1
Do you not have to pay some of his contract when you release him, thus reducing any money you have or is that just when you agree a contract termination.
New Roosterman
Do you not have to pay some of his contract when you release him, thus reducing any money you have or is that just when you agree a contract termination. If you release a player who is under contract, you have to pay out the amount of money which is remaining on his contract. This will come out of your transfer funds. Even with a mutual termination, you will rarely ever get a player who will agree to do so for nothing.
