Davey Boy
I bought an Argentian on a free transfer thinking i could at least play him in my U/21's until i could loan him out to Genk until he get a work permit to play for me. i had him set to play 90mins for my U/21's and he didn't or couldn't play? can someone tell me if he can? samdiatmh
if only they could.... i do like the feature that you can apply for them to get it at any time (ie right after they've been called up to the national squad for a friendly) but otherwise you've got to farm them out (to Genk in your case) edit: though they do train with you, so you can round them out a bit so that they get more games when they do move
Chao Yang
Fun fact, I actually emailed UK immigration once about playing in a Sunday League team match that my friend played in while visiting. No work permit needed at all! So I think you should be able to play players at 'Amateur' level without a work permit, though I doubt this would be possible in FM. Nobby_McDonald
Obviously no work permit is needed for Sunday League as you aren't working.
Chao Yang
Depends on how many pints I've had prior to the game Nobby~
