Damien Boudjemaa(born 7 June 1985) is a French football player of Algerian descent who plays for the Liga 1 club Petrolul Ploiești in Romania.

Club Career

In his first half of the season with Petrolul, he managed to be become a key player. In the summer of 2012, there were rumors that Rapid București would be interested to sign the player for the 2012/2013 season. He continued with Petrolul, but new rumors pointed to the interest of the Ligue 1 clubs Valenciennes and Brest to transfer the player during the 2012/2013 winter break. Boudjemaa declared that he would like to play for Petrolul in European competitions, to reward the sympathy of the fans.

In Game

Damian Boudjemaa is a top quality playmaker a little different to the norm. As you can see from his in game attributes, it's a bit of a case of a 'jack of all trades' with him, he has the technical ability (dribbling, first touch, passing, technique) and he also has favourable mental stats (decisions, off the ball, anticipation) which make him well rounding to a midfield role in most teams for the championship sides upwards. He does lack that spark of creativity but he's a more direct player anyway to be honest. I've used him at AMC, MC and on the right wing and he's always performed admirably.

Now for the good bit, you can get him for less than 100k in the first window.......

He also tends to accept a call up from the Algerian national side and becomes a full international pretty soon on if he performs well, which means his value will rise dramatically.

All in all, he's been one of my favourite bargains for the last few editions of this game for any team who he'll go to, and he'll go to almost anyone!. Give him a try.

Got him for wolves first season, has seemed a bit inury prone however so far only played 2 out of 11 games

Absolute bargain, not as good as FM13, but still, and willing to come to League 1.
