My Save So after looking in the challenges forum i saw a youth challenge and decided to try that. so i loaded up england with all the leagues and holidayed a season. The teams coming up included Chester, Redditch and Lewes. I chose chester as they were predicted to finish highest of all the promoted teams. The Challenge The challenge is to take a newly promoted team from the bottom league up to the top using only players from my youth system. I am allowed to sign staff and get rid of as many players as i want. Set-Up[/b I'm running just all the England leagues with all players based in england loaded with a large database. Aims Get chester to the Premier League Win the Premier League Win a european trophy Win the F.A. cup Win the carling cup Win the FA trophy (not very impotant) Win the JPT (not very impotant) Most importantly have fun I will do a end of preseason update, youth intake update and end of season update. manutdfan1999 Posted July 9, 2012 Author Share Posted July 9, 2012 youth intake has arrived and here they are there are a few players with high potential however alot of the players who have come through are right mids or fullbacks. the goalkeper with the potential is going to be are bacck-up as we havent got anyone else with any quality there. nearly everyone has been offerd contracts as our current squad hasnt got much depth Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

manutdfan1999 Posted July 9, 2012 Author Share Posted July 9, 2012 End of season update so after being expected to finish mid table i just wanted to not get relegated. here is the league table: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/690/2012070900015.jpg/ We did amazingly well and got 3rd. in the playoffs we got FC Halifax long story short we played pretty badly losing 3-1(a) and 2-1(h) In the F.A. cu we reached the first round after beating Market Drayton, Wingate & Finchley and Cambridge before losing to Northampton in a replay after drawing 1 all in the first game. Cup:1st round FA Trophy:2nd round Key Players Christian Smith is rate our best defender and midfield so should be key Louis Castles lat season he was our top scorer and got the most assists last season. hopefully he can be as productive this season. manutdfan1999 Posted July 11, 2012 Author Share Posted July 11, 2012 End of season update I was expected to challenge for the title and I went 1 step further and won it on the last day of the season after beating runners up Tamworth In the cups i didnt as well making the 2nd rond of th FA trophy and the F.A. Cup 2nd qual round. To me this wass really poor as we should be getting further. The finances arent in good shape as were in the red by 243k. Hopefully we can have a nice cup run next season can set that straight. Here is the SQUAD The key players this season are Rainford was our top scorer and McGinn was our leading assist maker. Next season we can look forward to a new division. We are definitly going to need to preform amazingly well all season to stay up but i feel we can. Bye for now.
