essien_5
I have the disc version of FM 2012, and in previous years I have had two separate folders for FM games once installed. One in 'My Documents' and one in 'C' drive. However, this year I seem to have a folder in 'My Documents' and nothing in 'C' drive. Is this correct? and if so, then where is the other folder with essentially the bulk of the game data within it?
SI Staff Jamie King Posted October 21, 2011 SI Staff Share Posted October 21, 2011 The bulk of the game data that is on the C drive is stored within the Steam folders. If you are on Windows 7 it should be in this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
essien_5
Thank you. One other quick question - I generally wouldn't need to touch this file anyway would I? Most editing, by way of skins, facepacks, logo's, etc go into the 'My Documents' folder don't they?!

papagie
Same question but for MAC, only seem to find empty folders?
Scab
Game files are in: User > Library > Application Support > Steam > SteamApps > common If you can't see the Library folder, use Go > Go to Folder... in Finder and type in ~/Library/ to open it. Addons, savegames etc. go in Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2012.

Yarunas
i'm using this thread as I don't want to open other topic. I hope someone can answer here. If I buy the game through steam, can I play it on my PC and also in my laptop? My father plays the game as well in my laptop, so can we both play simultaneously? thanks. Scab
It can be played on both machines but not simultaneously. You can only be logged into a Steam account on one machine at a time.
