soccer_
but surely Zaragoza would never in a million years spend 56million on a 32 year old Maicon? proper wtf

Romanista.
this is a problem in the game. you could sell old players for high amounts of cash.
Smurf
I had him in my game - I bought him for €32m at the age of 29ish. He retired at 38 years of age. And I was playing him week-in week-out. He kept all the young people out. I even sold 2 x 21 year old wing backs that I'd bought to replace him during his tenure. He is a class right back. Maybe not €56m but he's the best in the game, imo. I got 8 or 9 seasons out of him. Davide Santon is now the right back and and a young left back Jamie Stapleton is my new left back. I reckon he'll still be playing at 38 in the game. So they'll get 6 seasons out of him probably.
