Guiguedes
:D:D:D Hi, First, sorry for my English... But i want to give you a suggestion for FM 2010. I'll give you an exemple: Victor, goalkeeper of Grêmio is 50% of Grêmio and 50% of Paulista de Jundiaí (a team from São Paulo), and when i will sell him, 50% will go to Paulista. My suggestion is create a way to buy this percentage of the player. A way to make a propose to the other team of this 50%. (just an exemple) Was just this mine suggestion. Again, sorry for my english and good job for all. Bye
Mar$haLL
Italian clubs can do this, it's called co-ownership.
muncherdave
Hmm not exactly Mar$hall, when they co-own both clubs have to bid blindly at the end of the season to buy the player outright. What he is suggesting is that you as a club that owns 50% of the player can buy out the other 50% whenever you like if the other club agrees to the fee. I really have no idea if this even happens though, if it doesn't then it shouldn't be in the game.
RBF652
It would be interesting imo. For example, Palmeiras have recently bought the remaining percentage of one of their player so he could not be sold. (I know it's a bit different from Op's post but i believe it's the same problem - The player's sporting rights were owned by Palmeiras and Traffic and the last one wanted to sell him because of his age)
xecollons
Eto'o was a complicated signing of Barça because he was 50% Madrid, 50% Mallorca. Zaragoza has ofered 2,5M for 50% of Juan Forlín, Boca player.
Guiguedes
no no i'm not talking about co-owning players im talking about to buy the percentage who belongs to another club like brazilian players, i know better because i live here, so i can't tell a better example from europe im just saying that we could buy the percentage to keep with 100% of the contract from the player
Butts
He's talking about buying out sell on clauses I think. Which does happen irl.
Guiguedes
Some clubs on Brazil owns, for example, just 50% of the contract. But the players play for the team. But in the real life, the team can buy all of the pass. My idea is to make this for fm.
djwilko6
If I recall right Southampton took an an early final payment from Arsenal for Walcott which proved us with some quick cash and Arsenal not having to pay anymore for him.
