09.08.2009 Pro Vercelli 2-2 Pro Belvedere

A massive game for my first game in charge. Nothing bigger than a local derby. Vercelli Took the lead after 12 minutes through Scalingi after dominating the early play. Vercelli then held on the game for the rest of the first half going in 1-0 up with a shot count of 5(2)-7(3) and 48%-52% Possession. The second half was a different game though. Belvedere struck back through Nazari after 59 mins, before Vercelli scored again on the counter through Cipolla 67 mins. Vercelli fans were making all the noise in the final minutes but a heart breaking last minute strike from Carnevalli 88 mins earn deserved point for Belvedere.

23-08-2009 Villacidrese 1-1 Pro Vercelli

Vercelli controlled this game from the outset but failed to make their domination count going in 0-0 at half time. Vercelli deservedly took the lead after 57 mins through Ciano. Vercelli continued to dominate and look good for their lead. However last minute hearbreak was to haunt them again conceading a goal in 90+1 Mins through Dino Poli

19-09-2009 Pro Sesto 1-3 Pro Vercelli

An early top of the table clash for Pro Vercelli and the pressure got to them in the first half. A very poor first half performance saw te visitors go in at half time 1-0 down to a Wijaya goal and heading for their first defeat of the season. 'Enzo' dished out the hairdrier treatment at half time and demanded more from his players in the second half and they did not dissapoint. Pro Vercelli drew level after 56 mins through Scallingi after a fine throug ball from Fiorentino. Vercelli then continued to dominate the second half and deservedly scored a second through top scorer Damiano Cipolla after 76 mins. Pro Vercelli never looked back after taking the lead and wrapped the game up on 82 mins with a long range effort from Mattioli

27.09.2009 Pro Vercelli 2-0 Alto Adige

Another top of the table clash saw Pro Vercelli totally dominate their opponents. Pro Vercelli Got off to a flyer through Fiorentino after 3 mins and never looked back. Pro Vercelli then destroyed their opponents with a stunning first half display which saw them hit the woodwork twice but failed to add to their 1-0 lead. Going in at half time 14(2)-3(2) on shots. The second half was much the same and Vercelli continued their dominace of the game Pro Vercelli finally doubled their lead through Marazzi to settle any last minute doubts. This could have been a much higher scoreline and 2-0 flattered Alto Adige. Had Damiano Cipolla taken his chances and not wasted all his 6(0) chances the score could have been 4 or 5-0.

11.10.2009 Pro Vercelli 5-0 Rodengo

Top of the table clashes are coming thick and fast now fo Vercelli. This again proved a one sided game There were early problems for 'Enzo' as 2 players were carried off within 3 mins of each other D'Orsi (12) and Santoro (15). Pro Vercelli dominated the early play but had to wait until 18 mins when Fiorentino broke clear to make it 1-0. Pro Vercelli then finished the half in style scoring 2 goals in 3 mins through Mattioli (40) and the Fiorentino (43) for his second goal of the game. The second half was again dominated by Pro Vercelli and they scored early in the second half when Fiorentino completed his hattrick on (49). The game was then controlled by Vercelli who gave their opponents no way back into the game. Mattioli added a late 5th for Vercelli (86) to round off an excellent performance by the home side

25.10.2009 Pro Belvedere 1-4 Pro Vercelli

A very one sided local derby saw Pro Vercelli dominate from the outset and go 2-0 up within the first 10 minutes through Cipolla 5 min and then Mattioli 8 Mins. Scalingi added a third after 26 mins to put Pro Vercelli in total control and 3-0 was how it stayed until half time. Pro Belvedere battled in vain in the second half and pulled a consolation goal back after 58 mins through Bernadini but Pro Vercelli struck back 10 mins later through Mattioli to seal the points.

Serie C Cup Round 2

28.10.2009 Potenza 2-1 Pro Vercelli

Pro Vercell entered this game full of confidence and expecting a good result. The first half was a boring stalemate with very little goal action and 0-0 was a good reflection of the entertainment value. Potenza continued to frustrate the visitors but could only hold them back until 64 mins when Scalingi broke clear to fire home to put Vercelli 1-0 up. The lead was short lived as Potenza struck back on 70 mins through Poli and then immidiately scored again through Brunacci to silence the Vercelli travelling support. Vercelli had no answer to their Serie C1/B rivals and a poor performace saw them crash out of the Serie C Cup

Was coasting and ended up wit 5 injured players and 4-3 defeat. One to write off i think LOL. Gonna post some players now to show some of the best re-gens in the game

Hit a bad patch . Picking up a few injuries now and depth is becoming a real problem. Especially at DR/L

Gonna have to find some stars for next season i think. Just the fact we score loads of goals mean i should be in the hat for the run in but next season may be a struggle.

Should be going up bar a collapse in form. Can't believe there is no Italian cup for Serie C2 teams . Maybe next year

To be honest WH its a very poor league lol I have a great young squad and have been lucky with the player generation with this game some of my youngsters are above this level.

Next season will be more interesting I hope

I am going to tweak the layout slightly and psot regular updates when i play. Instead of match reports I will post scores and scores and give a general summary of games played and developments since previous post.

This will be linked as before through a summary page linking out to pre season analysis, and European round ups.

I am dropping transfer talk as things develop faster than i can report and match reports take to long to writ up so i am going to summarise an overall report for my gaming sessions with key facts for games played i have also found out that a full fixtre list des not fit the code box and it starts to scroll after about 40 lines..

Thi will be a bit confusing for the rest of this season but next season will be more clear.

A very good Session overall. Came back from 1-0 to win 4-2 vs Como to progrees to the second round. New signing Baretta looks good scoring a hattrick on his debut and new Spanish signing Cristian looks good as well but fans are not happy with me signing him only time will tell if he is worth the money. Barring a major injury before transfer deadline I think I am done in the transfer market but I need to offload 5-6 players to reduce wage bill athough €7,500 under my budget so looking good for a profit.

Asked for youth facility to be upgraded as i have €1,300,000 in the bank but was told we did not have enough money .

Doesn't look to much of a jump. With the 4 signings I have made i am confident of meeting the demands. Personally I hope to be around the playoffs at the end and if 2 legged should go up if home form is dominant.

I have a pre season friendly vs SS Lazio at home to test the full capability of my team to see how far it can go before i need to re-build again

well i said barring major injury i would not go into the market but 7 players out after one game is not good

We have had a very tough start to the season a lot of long term injuries have hampered any balance early in the season. Alao a very tough away Italian cup game saw us scrape through to the 3rd round on penalties before getting hammered by Atalanta

. 3-0 to Lazio and 4-0 to Atalanta mean we are way off any kind of team to survive in Serie A and only being 2 Promotions from top flight I need to seriously scout some young tallent .

My 2-2 With Livorino again showed the Gulf from Serie C1 to Serie B so major transfers needed in the summer i think.

Even if you've underestimated you have a few points on the board already, so you never know. Good luck

Had a really tough night tonight Having major injuries this season and from 01.08.2010 until 10.10.2010 i had at least 7 first teamers in the physio room . Slumped to 2 bad defeats in 3 league games to drop to 7th in the table.

I had Boukamacha, Schaessens (still out for 3 more months), Barbiero, Cipolla, Bocci, Mattioli, Ciano and Santoro injured during the last month.

Things are a little better now and the return of Barbiero and Cipolla have steadied te ship with 2 away wins on the bounce to take me back into the playoffs. I am starting to lose touch with the top 3 so the upcoming game with Verona is a must win game now.

4 wins and 2 losses is a fair session though

I have a new signing lined up for Jan as well. 18yo dutch player Richard Rutten is joining us for €3,500

A very tough session again . Still picking up injuries so need some new physio's or a facility upgrade to stop all the injuries. Started the night with an poor result to Crotone at home in the Serie C Cup. Things got a little better but we are constantly outplayed and need to nick a result or have a good defensive performaces. The top four are set now i think and do not feel we have the squad to break into this group. I am focusing more on staying ahead of the 3-4 teams bhind me and trying to nick the last playoff place

European and World player awards coming up so a chance to peek at the top guys in this save.

It looks a bit more challenging than last season but you are still at the right end of the table. Even if you finished there it would still be a successful first season in the new league.

A miserable session saw Pro Vercelli slump out of the playoffs. Having won the first game 3-0 vs Lecco Pro Vercelli stormed to a 3-0 lead vs Ternana. A nightmare persued an we finally drew the game 3-3 with the last kick of the game. This result burst our bubble big time and we proceeed to lose the next three games even though we battered the opposition. My team just lost all ability to play any kind if football. This resulted in me having to drastically asses my team and make immidiate decisions. 3 players were signed immidiatly 2xDC an 1xDMC to tighten the back. Mainly becaue none of my DC and DMC other than Schaessens were more than 2 star players.

All sources state that my stadium should only hold 6,200 but SI have placed a capacity of 10,622 in the game. I am currently working on a project to enhance my post and need to know if i should make this change or not.

A solid session saw us win 3/3 . Putting us back in the promotion race. Verona look to be running away with the league now so playoffs is the best i can hope for.

Our 3-2 victory vs bottom club Figline may look odd but as we were down to 9 men after 25 mins it was always going to be hard. We went 3-0 up but Figline fought back to 3-2 with 10 mins left. I was sweating over another 3-3 in the last minute after being 3-0 up

A very mixed session but turned out ok as in the playoffs with two games to go. My night started badly with a home draw and defeat and 4 dissallowed goals which were all at crucial moments in the games. Spal Promoted as they finished higher than me in the final league positions how much does that suck. Especially as they scored the equaliser on 90+2 mins with the last kick of the game.

Well we did our best to throw the first leg away and finlly did it i style in the final throwing away a 3-0 advantage. Onwards an upwards now. Need to bring in 3-4 players for next season.

Bad luck with the play offs. It always stings when you lose.

Was a good performance to finish 4th at the first attempt in the new league.

5th was not bad for my first season. A few players have dropped on the star rating so need some re building this year. I may try and get a new assistant as well to get a better profile of my team. If I had won that last game of the season i would have been up so gutted at that game now. I sat back for the draw and didn't go for the win. If i had know it would be detrimental I would have gone more attacking

Just hope they can re produce the form again next year
