RiseAlex
I've was looking for a False 9 to play in my league 2 team and decided to look on FM Genie. I was looking for the highest percentage player in that role and i came across a player called Olivier Kapo and Genie says that he has a playing percentage 71% in that position. so i decided to acquire him. But when he joined i discover he had a half a star rating in strike force and was completely useless in the false 9 role. Can anyone explain why his happens? is it genie or football manager? i cant believe the coaches would get it this wrong, its too extreme. thanks for any help provided
Guest
Coaches can get it wrong as their ratings & reports are a matter of perception, can't comment on Genie Scout as that is a third party tool so you'll have to ask on the Genie forum.
Welshace
AS Barside said, you'll have to ask on the genie forums... but I do know genie uses it's own parameters to determine how good a player is, the parameters may be completely off in genie. BoxToBox
Any chance of a screenshot of the fellow in question?
StevenWonder
As i recall the 71% is not showing how good he actually is playing false 9. It shows what role is best compared to his stats. That would also explain why he is'nt familar with playing false 9.
FrazT
Genie scout is an unsupported utility and as such, should not be discussed on the forums- It has a forum of its own.
