T-Unit-LFC
Hi lads, I've put a post on here before about this, so please accept my apologies for that. However, I didn't get a specific answer, so if anyone could help me I would be really grateful. Basically, I have every version of CM & FM with SI, but I've only got the discs, I threw the game manuals away. I want to know what versions of FM I can play without needing the activation code on the manual? What years can I play with just the disc needed and not the manual? Kindest regards, Matt
santy001
I wouldn't expect to be able to play any of the FM's, the practice of printing activation codes on manuals was well established in general by 2004/2005. Even if you had the manual for FM08 it would probably be an issue. There is a few free versions of old CM titles floating about that you are able to download I think. dafuge
There are links here to patches that remove the need to activate FM09 and 10, if that helps.
T-Unit-LFC
Thanks a lot lads. So if I'm correct, it started from FM 09 onwards that you needed these codes?
TQ13PS
I'm pretty sure FM08 can be played without an activation code, the only thing I can suggest is try and see how you get on.
kccircle
I remember on CM you used to have to go to a certain page of the manual and enter one of 5 scores on the page - always tried to guess what it was first
