Well this is awkward

I'm Man City manager and around a year ago i asked if we could expand the stadium because of winning the champions league 4 times and becoming the worlds biggest team so they accepted now here i am 12 months later and i've had an e-mail telling me i'll be ground sharing when the expansion goes ahead where you may ask; Old Trafford.

Anyone else had any funny ground sharing stories

I've got my new stadium with Gillingham being expanded and we're using Wembley for a year so i can't complain! Used the Olympic Stadium when it was being built so definitely a step up.

Not crazy though, as United and City did groundshare when OT was being repaired after the war.

When I was Southampton, we shared at Reading which is a fair distance really and resulted in my worst season with them

Well I can see that ground-share happening, only some fans treat the game and/or business of football as some sort of holy thing. What I find odd is that they can't keep using the City of Manchester stadium while expanding, or that they chose to expand it all in one go so that they have to ask favours from their rivals.

yeah in real life read that spurs cauld be ground sharing at mk dons ,witch is very strange
