Jimbokav1971
I've just signed a player on the longest contract I have ever seen. The date is May 2032. The contract that I have offered is due to expire June 2037. (so that's 5 years). In addition to that I have a 3 year option on the player. (so that's another 3 years). So I have effectively just signed a player on an 8 year contract. What is the longest contract you have ever manager to get accepted?
podunkboy
I've got someone on a 5-year with a 1-year option, but I can't imagine locking someone down longer than that.
mark1985
Just the standard 5 years for me.
kris0710
I had four years with three more option if i want. He wanted something like £25k pw for that contract or with five years plus the three he wanted £42k pw. I thought 7 years was long enough!
