19MiRkO91
Hi guys. I was playing against Leicester and they beat me 2-1 at home and I won 1-0 away (scored at the 78th minute). So we go to extra time and play 30 minutes like usual with the same result. Shouldn't we have penalties after that? The match ended with Leicester eliminating us and the match report says it's for away goals. But shouldn't I have been eliminated at the end of the match? Why would I go extra time if they had scored more away goals than me?
CityAndColour
Away goals count after extra time I believe.
forameuss
What CAC said. It's after extra time. Should say that on the rules tab for the semi-final
19MiRkO91
That's really weird. Where exactly do I find the rules for the semi final? Thank you to both of you.
CityAndColour
Good real life example in the United Sunderland semi this season too. It went to extra time, but Sunderland had to score in extra time to keep the tie alive.

Kenco
It's been that way for years in the League Cup. I don't know of any other competition that does it this way though.
