figano
If I bought MICROSOFT Surface Pro 10.6” Tablet - 128 GB, would I be able to play the full version of the game or would I have to play the app version of the game? http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/ipad-tablets-and-ereaders/tablets/microsoft-surface-pro-10-6-tablet-128-gb-21426630-pdt.html Any help would be great. gwatson
There's a review for it here: http://www.gizmag.com/microsoft-surface-pro-review/28138/ It manages to play Batman: Arkham Asylum on it so I'd guess it will play the full fat FM on it. It is the full Windows 8.1 so you should be able to download steam and get FM that way. Hope that helps

MegaWang
Yes, full fat FM will work on a Surface Pro - it's full fat Windows so functions exactly the same. The CPU's integrated graphics chipset has no problem with FM. There is no FMH for Windows based tablets anyway.
Puggsy13
So are we saying that the full version of football manager will work on all tablets that have the full version of windows on it? From my understanding if it's windows RT it won't work? I'm looking for a tablet that I can use football manager on, im currently looking at the asus transformer book which has a running system of windows 8.1, will this be compatible? Thanks for any help
chris2403
Wont work on any Windows RT device but a tablet with Windows 8/8.1 will be fine depending on the hardware inside, any of the Surface Pro's will be fine with Football Manager.

robnewton1
Has anyone actually played fm on a tablet. I'm thinking of getting a surface pro or pro 2 to replace my surface rt but I'm wondering how well, if at all, FM runs & how awkward is it to play using a touchscreen. Touchscreen works great, only problem is losing the ability to type when your keyboard isn't with you (I.e. No keyboard shows up on screen when searching for players etc.). I generally play fmc though but have loaded up full fm before

It runs perfectly well, I've been playing FM13 and then 14 on my old Samsung Slate... the only downside is that its not optimised for touch. The stylus is okay, but a mouse is preferable. I wonder if 15 will have some touch screen controls? The app version is just not the same game as the full thing, Windows PRo is the way to go, RT is just pointless.
